Because government over regulation, over taxation, dictates, mandates, bureaucracy, micromanagement and rights infringements (All Democrat Party pursuits) were corrected and reduced, enabling prosperity, job creation, national economy and military strength to rebuild. Remember that the Republican Party is the party of small government. Minimal government = maximum liberty & opportunity. The Democrat Party is always about Progressively expanding government into our lives, our private sector and our property. We need some government. Some.
