I'm an apartment dweller and I bbq every weekend with my nice but limited Jumbo Joe grill. But if I was a homeowner this would be my 1st & last bbq pit. How very versatile this charcoal grill/smoker truly is. The best part, the ease of cleaning after a cookout. Hat's off to Lone Star Grillz for such a functional & handsome bbq smoker.

About 15 years ago I bought one similar from Wal-Mart. Burned it out cooking beer can chickens. Need one like that one.

Just ordered this grill on Friday. Besides all the cooking options Chris described, you could set a charcoal basket in the ash pan on bricks, place a defuser plate in the adjustable charcoal basket and have twin Komato Joe style cookers. I can’t wait to break down the temperature ranges in the 1-7 adjustable elevations. Half a chimney vs a full chimney. A half on the left and right side vs full chimney on both. This is the absolute most versatile cooker made. I do see a few fabricated accessories in its future. Fisherman claim there isn’t the perfect boat…. This is the perfect storm for outdoor cooking.

Add a pass through or removable partition to combine both fire boxes and a rotisserie, and it's perfect.

Overpriced .. these guys want close to 10k with simple add ones that aren’t worth what they’re charging for it… I get the need to make money but the price for some of the add ons are crazy.
