It was ONE OF the highlights. A great way to begin Saturday, for sure. I thoroughly enjoyed the six lead changes in the final 20 minutes and the defensive stop to seal the deal. However, there were lots of other good games. On Thursday we had three thrillers (Georgia State -- Rhode Island, Minnesota -- Nebraska, Arizona State -- Southern Utah.) On Friday we had Louisville's spectacular rally against Georgia Tech. And on Saturday there were a ton of fantastic finishes and tight games. Fresno State and Purdue went back and forth. Northern Illinois and Boston College needed one OT to settle things. Temple needed a break from the refs to survive against Akron. Marshall had a tough test against Albany. FIU just barely escaped Maine. Louisiana-Monroe had a dramatic late rally against Army. Houston nearly choked away the game against UTSA. Illinois just squeaked past Toledo. San Diego State had a nervy finish against Idaho State, And Wyoming and Texas Tech decided to outdo NIU and BC by taking *two* OT's to determine a result. All of today's games were blowouts, but we have one more game tomorrow. Hopefully it will cap the week off well by being a tight one.

@@raymondnicolas1511 massive difference between the Blue Hens and the Buffs. The Blue Hens play in basically a high school stadium- that dump off of 95 just after the Maryland line. . I've been there. I was recruited there back in the late 80's. Good ole' Tubby Raymond and his boring ass wing t offense. lol. Then you have Folsom Field, which is about as beautiful a college football stadium-setting you will ever see. Colorado was a major football power back in the day. People care about it and it means something to the fan base. Colorado is a sleeping giant. It's good to see that program getting back to being on the national stage, so folks get emotional about it. I get it.

Deion brings something that no one else has, a wealth of knowledge, access to NFL staff and players that see him as their own hero growing up. True knowledge of the game from an elite perspective as a HOF player. Not just a HOF but one of the greatest players in his era. He identifies with his players own a different level but the fact he has current and former elite players that love him as a person and player is completely different than one of these NFL players coming to visit for a day with a team. Every high school football player in the country is looking at CU.

Believe it or not, Deion has a "servant" mentality....he believes he was lead by God to be a leader of men. That's why Sean Lewis, Kelly and others are following him and betting their coaching careers on Prime, some were head coaches. When you eat a good meal do you thank the fork even though it gets the food to your mouth? No, because its just a utensil. Prime sees himself as a utensil to be used by these young men to become better men, fathers, players, and for some NFL prospects....that's somthing very unique about him, and players will run through walls for him... He will continue surprise everyone but himself and his players, because they believe

Deion has always been exceptional which is another way of saying he don't follow norms or rules. I wish him well but my gut says in the long run the best coaches were middle talent players who survived by intense prep and becoming students of the game. This is my problem. This is not Deion hate to me. People Keep saying he is a great head coach. We have no grounds to say that yet. He may very well turn into a great head coach. I am saying AS OF RIGHT NOW, we have one game of him being head coach. We cannot base anything off one game. We cannot base anything off of him in the swac. Lots of FCS and G5 coaches that look like can't miss coaches crash and burn at the power 5 level. he may very well meet or exceed expectations this year. But to say he is a great head coach at this point in time is a bit premature. he has not won a natty or 2 or 3 yet. That is greatness as a coach.

Hunters interception looked identical to plays I watched Deion make in his career. He's a special 2 way talent. I expect more teams to evaluate their rosters, find their playmakers and do the same. Playmakers should be on the field if teams really want to win. And every top D1 school has playmakers but they put them in a box and force them to play one way. Deion knows football and knows what he's doing. Let's face it, no one handed him back to back Super Bowls with "2 different" teams and a gold jacket.

Nothing but doubters and naysayers all over that comment section before the game too and it’s hilarious that it’s all still there to read and compare just days later. Those the same type of receipts this guy Coach Prime keeping on the folks in the media. But sometimes if you really observe what’s going on and who’s involved, then maybe you’ll have a better idea of what could come. And it’s funny that pretty much every follower of this channel who decided to comment on that was talking down on the idea of Hunter and Colorado being able to matchup with talent in CFB.😮

TCU, AUBURN, and FSU failed to recognize. The haters fails to realize what drives a man like Coach Prime. When a man tell you who he is, believe him. He feeds off the negative, and he turns it into positive energy. I have watched him since he was a freshman at FSU. Coach Prime will never and has never been a loser. Keep betting against him we understand Coach Prime, and we are proud of him.

He basically fired all the players and brought in new ones, probably with a lot of NIL$$$. There ain't no miracle about that. Several other college sports teams have done similar things. Now if he had taken those same players and turned them around, THAT would be something worth talking about.

My expectations before this were Colorado just missing out on a bowl. Now, I'm seeing them in the Sun or Las Vegas Bowl if everything goes right. But if this season becomes successful, Deion just gave a blueprint for how to overhaul a cupcake team. Just get rid of all the losers and replace them with players who want to win everything. Chaos will abound with boosters who want high turnover because a season wasn't to their expectations. If this is a rebuilding year for TCU, Chad's boy might be in for a rough season if he doesn't limit the turnovers.

People are surprised by Shedeur & Travis because they refused to watch even a moment of their HBCU games. As a freshman Shedeur said he was having an undefeated season and delivered, then he had the nerve to do the damn thing again as a sophomore. I for one am happy that they left a lot of people stuck on stupid after that win.

I would like to offer the FBS world a word of caution from the HBCU world. Many HBCUs have tried to find their Coach Prime in former players in the NFL and most haven't worked out. Bethune Cookman was about to hire Ed Reed and that situation ended up being a mess. Eddie George and Tennessee State hasn't been pretty. There's only one Coach Prime. Trying to duplicate what he does won't end well for your school.

Colorado played with their hearts out. There’s some technicalities that will need adjustment. However, I think the most inspiring thing for me at least loving the game is how fast he got this program to buy in on his dreams and vision. I’m honored to be able to watch this unfold as it is what’s crazy to think is going through the stats Colorado has a few things to adjust for but if they keep their heart in the race like they did in that game that team will arrive much sooner than even I anticipated.

We’ll see how Colorado turns out this year. But TCU is cooked. Defense looked like hot garbage juice. And their QB looked horrible. Morris going down so Duggan could come in last year was part of the lighting in a bottle they caught to ember to the Natty.

As a supporter of Deion and Colorado, this was the most logical and fair assessment of Deion’s Colorado tenure so far I’ve seen from anybody in the media. Like you said, keep the expectations where they were (3-4) wins it’s only one game, because apparently all the know it alls are saying TCU just Sucks. Should CU exceed expectations then, God forbid Colorado looses a football game to a good football team… I imagine all we’ll here is ‘told you there overrated, they can’t beat so and so” lol 🤦‍♂️

Great analysis as always from Pate State. The reason they (most legacy media and the coaching old boys club) don't like Deion is because he's...unconventional, to say the least. If and when this thing works, MANY MANY coaches will be unable to give the excuses they've been peddling to their AD's and fan bases. THAT'S why all these anonymous coaches are talking crap about Sanders and his approach, and that's why the media (which loves amplifying anonymous coaches to get future inside information) plays along. They also hate being called out for bad takes (see: Luginbill, ESPN) and they prefer coaches who are coy and wry when they prove them wrong. Deion is neither.
