This is a very disappointing effort of my favorite composition. I've listed to so many versions and reactions, but this is just not good. Sorry, but the instruments were just not working for me. There was too much going on and not in a good way. The instruments are fighting each other. Oboes are playing against the strings. The strings even sound like they are fighting each other. UGG. And ALL of them are working against the choir. Not good.

I'd say that this was some kind of experiment, before the final form of the song was decided upon. After all it was back in 2019:)
