Ahoj, Krásné Studentky a Krásní Studenti,〈Hello, beautiful (female) and (male) Students,〉
These 25+12 words, you will hear them daily if you are in contact with real Czechs or even worse, if you live in Czechia. You've better get used to them - they are, as you will see, easy to notice, memorise and remember. They are also very economic - they can save you many complicated words in a sentence because they carry a deep meaning understood by nearly everyone. If you say them with your charming accent, you will bring smiles to faces and quickly break ice in social interactions - we Czechs may appear a bit aloof and cold in comparaison with other nations when it comes to first meetings. But it's just a façade, so don't be too hr hr (I forget this one - too rash, impetuous) and give us some time and credit. We are slow to melt but once we get to know the "foreigner", we generally LOVE them unconditionally.
So here, 25+12+1, but there are even more of them out there, but these are the most frequent and still correct to use in daily colloquial speech.

Now this is something very special! Wonderful idea - these expressions are indeed used all the time in Czech, especially the hogofogo and the basta 😃

So many idioms and you are right - I have heard them often in films or even with my Czech colleagues without even realizing their meaning. Thank you so much ☺️

I have also heard them often, especially halabala. This girl has original plans for teaching her native language. My favorite channel so far.

Wow! This was an amazing video! So so beautifully shot with such feeling for the beautiful nature. Sorry for the late comment but things have been a little, shall we say, topsy-turvy lately. Bravo, thank you and keep doing what you do so well ❤️❤️

I walked in Czech woods in Nouzov this summer. Lovely memories come to life watching this.

How interesting - I tried to figure out where it was and discovered that there were 6 locations in ČR corresponding to Nouzov. Anyway - glad you like Czech forests and walks in general!

Honem was one of the first words I learned from my stařicek and stařenka. Also, pryč, when my stařenka told her pes to go away. Oni přijeli do Texasu z Moravy.

This is something as not someone to be pushed around / to be told what to do / to be a joke… Literally not someone to be ordered and dismissed as you please.
