I'm 53 & still going, why stop practicing Muay Thai?, I feel at peace when I practice Muay Thai. F**k the world i feel a closer connection to my spiritual, physical, health & mental sides when I practice Muay Thai. I'm now more at peace with myself & the world around me. This reminds of the Muay Thai classes I use to take before I started a family and had to stop. Some of the most fun I’ve had in a while.

I want to get back into Muay Thai, but the biggest fear I have is head injury. I have sustained 2 concussions before and worry about what may happen if I continue to pursue this. Have you ever had this hesitation. Do you have any advice? Is Muay Thai really something where you're either all in, or all out, and just have to accept the risk? Any and all help from anybody in comments would be appreciated.

Hello coach, I'd like to ask you about settingnup a low kick. Several times, my opponent has seen it coming, and I've ended up hitting the end of his shin with mine. Or at what angle to kick the low kick. I've heard that a low kick sent from top to bottom hits the opponent with the edge of the shin, reducing the risk of injury, but I'm not sure about the truth of that. I have a panic fear of breaking my shin, and honestly, after throwing one checked low kick where I hit my opponent's shin with mine, I don't even want to throw another kick. Or is this something I have to come to terms with and just throw low kicks even if it means occasionally hitting my opponent poorly and causing myself pain? Thank you
