Hey my Beautiful People,
Today I’m sharing with you my Paime (Pay-me) Recipe. Paime is a traditional Trinidadian snack, and it is very easy to make. Paime is a sweet cornmeal pie, filled with flavorful spices, rolled up in a banana leaf and steamed or boiled to perfection, It’s a favourite Christmas Treat also enjoyedall year round and just another cornmeal recipe we make here in Trinidad and Tobago.
INGREDIENTS:
3 Cups of Fine Cornmeal
2 Cups of finely grated Pumpkin
1 Cup of Finely Grated Coconut
1/2 Cup of Raisins
2 Cups of Granulated Sugar
1 tsp Salt
1/2 cup of Butter
1 tsp Cinnamon Powder
1 tsp Grated Nutmeg
1 tsp Pumpkin Spic Powder
2 tsp Almond Essence
2 tsp Vanilla Essence or Extract
2 tsp Mixed Essence
1/2 Cup Milk
1/4 Cup Water
Banana Leaves
Foil or String for wrapping

Merveilleux c'est la première vidéo que je vois avec autant d'essence, ils ont l'air délicieux. Merci pour votre recette, j'ai enfin fait mon choix parmi beaucoup de recette comme celle-ci que j'ai vu. Je choisi la vôtre, je crois qu'il va y avoir des gens content car je travaille avec des gens de chez vous et en tant que québécoise, vous prenez les même épice que chez nous pour des recettes et j'adore essayé de nouvelles recette qui vient de ces beaux pays que je voudrais un jour visiter.
