I agree with everything you said Gary, except no where in the Constitution does it say we are limited to small arms.

I'm pretty sure the 2nd amendment goal was for the people to be able to stand up against tyrannical rule. Whatever it takes.

Gary I know you’re preaching to the choir for those of us that tune in or who is subscribed to your channel here but you make a lot of valid points that I agree with and I wish the audience was much bigger so they can understand what has happened and what continues to happen to this country and where it’s heading. I think there’s so many people in our government who have been influenced from outside of our country to which they draw their views and agendas and it’s coming to fruition. When you read about politicians who quote people like Karl Marx as their inspiration then you know we’re in trouble... when you’re on top like the United States, others will come after you and try to strip you down because of your successes and this is what I feel has taken place. can’t get us any other way but internally.

Does this not conflict with the 1st amendment? Amendment I Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances. Let's prosecute these 'law makers' for violating their oaths to uphold the constitution which they promised to do when they were sworn in.

I would 100% agree with that. The problem is we have leftist and statist lawmakers desperate to do anything they can to disarm The People.

@@paramounttactical Agreed, an oath means nothing if you don't believe in God and the Bible that you are swearing upon might as well say 'Fingers crossed'. Just hoping the courts see it as a flagrant violation of the first amendment that also always seems to be in danger.

HR 6981 is the third prong of the three prong attack on the 2nd Amendment. First it was assault weapons, a made up term that even the director of the ATF couldn't define when ask by Congress. Next was magazine's and ammo, limiting the number of rounds you can carry, and the amount of ammo you can purchase, not to mention the tracking of ammo, background checks, and serial numbering ammo. Now we get to training, and they use the word paramilitary which is code for Militia, the same word that the founding fathers chose to use in the 2nd Amendment to protect Americans from a tyrannical government. This particular attack on the 2nd Amendment, is actually an attack on the 1st Amendment as well, by preventing the peoples right to gather to protest their government. The Amendments are written in a particular order for a reason, and the 2nd Amendment was placed 2nd because the founding fathers knew how important the 1st Amendment was in preventing a tyrannical government from taking total control over the people, exactly what the revolutionary war was fought over. Bottom line, we already have laws that make everything in this bill illegal, this bill is directed at preventing people or groups of people from assembling to protest a government that is out of control and passing unconstitutional legislation through judges, executive orders, and the directors of 3 letter agencies.

Yeah and the problem is they define a “private paramilitary organization” as 3 or more persons that train to engage in “combat”. Which they also ambiguously define. This is a bill proposing a law that is meant to be abused and meant to abuse citizens that engage in any training.

The weapons that We The People are allowed are far less superior than what law enforcement or the military have. I don't necessarily want superior weapons to what LE and the military have. I simply want equal arms to what they have. As was intended by our founding fathers. And We The People must have the opportunity to train with those weapons and access to people and facilities for that training.

@@paramounttactical there is no penalty to any government official that does something "unconstitutional." Many times the Supreme Court has reversed itself. Is anyone held liable? Jail time? Fines? No. There is no personal accountability of anyone in government. Always either "just doing my job," or "above my pay grade/higher ups responsible." If you can't hold your "agent/representative" responsible, how is he one? Congress literally has immunity from almost all crimes. There is no enforcement mechanism by the citizens to "enforce the Constitution." The Declaration of Independence is literally illegal. If you agree to the premise the Constitution is a contract, it is void for vagueness. No one can agree what it means, we need the Supreme Court to tell us what it means, and even the Supreme Court can have a 5-4 decision that is "Constitutional." Unconstitutional = Barnum statement. Means something different to each person which means it's meaningless

@@DonnieDarko727 you’re not wrong… but what you say is true because ultimately it’s a legal debate that usually ends at the Supreme Court. It’s a broader issue than what I discuss in the clip but I do talk about that very thing in the full podcast. What you’re saying is why EVERYTHING POLITICAL matters. Every state and local election, every presidential election. We The People need to read every bill and know what’s in it before it’s passed and make our voices heard. That’s the system we have. It’s even worse when SCOTUS rules on the constitutionality of an issue and clearly gets it wrong. Ultimately too many Americans have kept their heads in the sand and now they open their eyes to a US they don’t recognize and wonder what went wrong. Hopefully more people start waking up and getting involved. We’ve let the Left run amuck and they’ve destroyed this country. Hopefully it’s not too late.

@@paramounttactical I guess we disagree. I want you to see the greater problem, the forest for the trees. You are playing in a system designed, from the start, to screw the people. Corrupt. The Supreme GOVERNMENT Court rubber stamps the government. Every time. Government grows larger daily. Would you join a mafia abd try to turn it into a charity? No. Government is simply a legalized mafia. You are given the choice to vote between two handpicked masters in a term of years. A man is no less a slave that way. Three Constitution can't work without the right people, but if it only works with the right people, then you don't need it in the first place. At no time in recorded history has any government ever "worked." People don't become more free as time goes on. Saying oh well this is just the system we have, so let's work within this corrupt system is missing the point. What happened to a limited government? That ended and begun in 1791. 1865 at the latest. A Constitutional Republic is just a fancy, slick slave system. People caught on to Kings and Queens, so they just changed the game. "We the People" was only the voters in 1791. Who could vote then? Only about 600,000 out of the 4,000,000 population. Rich, white, land owners of "good moral character." Only people with skin in the game.

"I think every single law-abiding citizen, as long as you've never broken the law, you should be able to buy..." What law(s) are you referencing? I presume you're referencing serious crimes such as tax evasion and other federal matters. Unfortunately, just about every Fudd I've run into says this. Then they make legislation doing exactly as you wish. Then all you have to do is make undesired activity/behavior illegal, and poof, now no one can be armed. You are not a 2nd Amendment "absolutist", you are an enemy to the United States, her People, her constitution, and her interests.

Specifically I was referring to violent felonies. I know you’re new here but if you bothered to listen to my many other statements on the matter, I also believe that if you’ve committed a crime and served your time all rights should be restored. If you’re too dangerous to exercise your rights then you should still be in jail.
