Huh, so yeah, PhD stands for Doctor of Philosophy, which applies to various fields. You can be a Doctor of Philosophy of Philosophy, for example. Doctor originally meant teacher, as many of them become professor/researchers, and philosophy basically means learning. Doctors are required to conduct research and create an original thesis to contribute new knowledge to the world. Medical Doctors are actually at the Master's level, as they don't have to do research, although many do, and many go on to get PhDs. They often don't have time for that though, because pretty much their entire lives they're working through the levels of training. Apparently they fought for the term doctor because they felt their profession deserved more respect, even though back in the day they were probably closer to butchers than scientists. So jerma was actually correct. Go figure

I remember some game collection I played as a kid that had a game similar to this. The entire screen was covered in dirt, and you had to clean it all up with a broom. There was technically no win condition, so it was more for the satisfaction of having cleaned it all up. There was also another game in that collection that was literally the same thing, but it had snow and a shovel instead of a broom. It reminds me of this game in that sort of mindless cleaning routine, where you try to make everything spotless while also starting to optimize how you are cleaning. It was from the top-down perspective, too.
