I dont like the last force. I think its too obvious. I like the spread force but i like to cull the force card from the 5th position. Im unsure with the psychology at the criss cross force. I dont know if its good to say : lets mark the spot you cut at. This draws much attention at the cards before the time misdirection. This is my thinking on those forces.

The way i do the criss cross force, and has worked every time so far, is to hold the deck in my hand and ask the spectator to cut about half (it's important to say half, some people will try, for example, to only take the top card) of the deck into the table. Immediately put the other half on top, and as you do that you say something that makes them look up at you. The best way to do that is to look at them and say their name, that will make them immediately focus on you and forget about the deck, and you can then continue with the script. The one i usually use is to ask them, if they were to bet, what colour do they think their chosen card is, but anything that distracts them for like 30s is enough. I also think that it's important to NOT place the two packs perpendicular to each other, it seems too mechanic, and can make the spectator suspicious. Something around a 45 angle or less looks more natural.
