Toyota, Honda, Mazda. Goes without saying. But someone will come along with their anecdotal, personal tale about their wonderful, long lasting BMW, Mercedes or GM product. After owning BMW (3 and 4 series), a Mercedes E320, all purchased new, these cars are an albatross after 60K miles. Sure, great when new. After warranty dump and run from anything made in or near the Rhineland.

TOYOTA AND HONDA MAKE THE BEST CARS. I have had HONDA CIVIC, TOYOTA COROLLA, TOYOTA CAMRY, HONDA ACCORD, HONDA PILOT AND NOW I OWN A 2018 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER AND IS THE BEST; IN 5 YEARS THAT HAVE HAD IT, IT HAS NOT GIVEN ME ANY PROBLEM. I JUST DO THE REGULAR MAINTENANCE.

Well done and well said. After surviving a Chrysler that stared to break down if you looked at it the wrong way, my wife and I decided our next car would be either a Honda or a Toyota. We are proud owners of both a Honda and a Toyota. We bought them new right off of the lot and it already has been 4 years and we have had no issues with either one. The fact they both get great MPGs was also a huge blessing over the recent years. They are also fun to drive. Quality is engineered and Honda, Toyota and their family of vehicles are a shining example of that. Thanks for the video and keep up the great work. The Toyota GR Corolla, GR Supra and the Honda Acura Type S all in manual are dream cars I would love to own one day. One of my current cars is a Honda Civic Type R and I am never selling that car.

Hi from Nevada. Own and drive 4 vehicles. 2016 Cadillac Escalade ESV in Black. 2022 Lexus GX 460 in Nightfall Blue, 2022 Toyota RAV4 XLE Hybrid in Silver, 2023 Toyota RAV4 SE Hybrid in Cavalry Blue. The Escalade was bought used. The Lexus and two RAV4 Hybrids were bought brand new. The Lexus and both RAV4 Hybrids are assembled in Japan and the build quality is perfect. I always use 91 Octane gas or higher on all my vehicles. Chevron only. Cheap gas will mess up your engine over time.

Hi there love watching your videos! I absolutely agree with you Toyota/ Lexus older Honda are the best. I have had 4 RXs, 1 Camry, 1 NX, 1 Venza Got bored and left to BMW and then to Porsche and got a 2019 Macan. I recently traded it in on a CPO 2022 RX 350 F sport fully loaded.. Atomic Silver on Red..with only 7k miles…and I have buyers remorse. While it’s beautiful and reliable, I want my fun Porsche Macan back. I want that fun German drive! I am not in a position to get a LC but I can trade for a Macan T 😅 I would always come back to Lexus/Toyota products.. but don’t want to get rid of that old school V6.. Question: would you have fun with the Macan for a while and come back the Toyota/ Lexus family later?

Toyota and Lexus are probably overall the best way to go. I been more of a Honda fan all my life though. I just purchased a 2024 Honda CR-V Hybrid Sport L and from the first day it has a rattling noise in the cabin. It’s already in the Honda Service Center, with only 100 miles on it. I hope they can fix this problem. After all I don’t think the CR-V should stand for Constantly Rattling Vehicle.

I have a GMC Yukon Denali 6.2L and Chevy Silverado single cab 5.3L and Chevy Tahoe LT 5.3L and Chevy trailblazer (made in Thailand) with the 3.6L V6 engine. Those are Bulletproof engine. Change the oil and filter regularly every 3000 miles to 5000 miles (5000 km to 10k km) and ended the stories. I will last longer over 500k km. I know I know the 3.6 is trash. Yes it’s trash but it’s not a trash. I have a Trailblazer with 3.6 I don’t have timing chain issues and I maintain it very well with less price it looks awesome to me. And also 5.3 vortec were know the AFM (active fuel management) but be smart if you change the oil and filter it will be reliable even the 6.2s. Thinking of those sunroof leaks on the SRX and headlight issues. Dumb ass GM man. I don't need a relationship with the local car dealership lol. Currently driving a 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.7 with 340000 km lol. No big failures besides a water pump, but the diff oils must be changed every 2 years, transfer case oils and pcv valve also.

@stevenkim9637
@stevenkim9637 5 ай бұрын
@@ECPP Sure if you have enough money then a red Ferrari or orange lambo sounds cool enough. No McLaren tho. Clearly if they can afford those options, then most likely they wouldn’t even bother with a Toyota or Honda unless it’s a very special model. The reason why I brought up BMW, Mercedes, Porsche as the three brands is because they tend to deliver good bang for the buck. They do cost more than regular brand cars but not as unreachable as a Rolls Royce. I’d say a Merc S-class or BMW X7 is a good value, and it’s fairly reliable and easy to maintain at least in the first 3-5years. Dealer infrastructure is also somewhat important to consider as something unexpected incident might happen to the vehicle while you’re on the road. At least here in California, you can easily located a Mercedes or BMW dealer unlike the fewer high end automakers.

BMW 328xi 2012 and 2014 I owned as well as BMW 340M all I had problems with and had to tow . I’m taking a break for now with BMW

I hate to bust your bubble but the Honda / Acura V6 are recalled fora major engine lock up. Now I had a 2019 RDX ASpec and Never again. Horrible NYC gas mileage, Black display, Unable to change drive mode when just cracking the car. ( ALL I DID WAS START THE CAR ) in the shop 4 times. So glad I dumped it. Yes the SH AWD was a blast but all the issues got old. fast and to hear the GM tell me they had to call Acura on the last visit to see if they could fix the car again, LOL F Honda / Acura and there piss poor customer service. Just fix the Car is all I wanted to hear. So great when you are in the middle of now where can't use your 40 k car display and have to use your $ 400 google maps phone. the RX 350 Touch pad is better than the RDX touch pad. Neither are perfect but at least itn eh Lexus if some thing goes wrong I have the touch screen as a back up. What piss poor customer service from Acura Corp down to the Dealership. This is real world experience. I now have a CPO 2022 RX350 Lexus and I can tell you I am not a speed daemon but it's like night and day difference in Lexus from Acura. From the Corp down to the dealership. The car is perfect for me I get 12 to 17 in NYC driving unlike the RDX I got 9 to 12 very light food. The RX 350 is heaver than the RDX. So maybe you can explain that one to me, Are Turbos that great on saving gas? Oh and BTW Highway I get 29 in the RX 350 and I got 29 to 30 in the RX cruise control set to 55.

There is a video of Canadian made rav4 VS japanese made rav4 on youtube where Canadian made one had noticeable gaps all over the body, and it also had thinner inferior paint job. You simply can't deny the fact that japanese makes better cars. I personally wouldn't buy anything that is not made in japan.

Still can’t get over the darth Vader front fascia look of Lexus. Besides the GS models they float like a boat. Toyota are dad mobiles and more boring. Hondas are “jack of all trades, expert of none” point a to point b cars and what’s up with cheating out with cvt made in Mexico. Want more fun and exciting cars not so ugly? My choices Acura, Mazda if you don’t mind its looks, and bmw except for the bunny teeth models. Ok I’ll pencil in M3 as an exception.

No denying if you want something ultra reliable buy Honda Toyota or their luxury brands Lexus and Acura (in the US), but on the whole the vast majority of their models are super boring both in looks and performance apart from a select few like the NSX Civic Type R GR yaris or Corolla, LC500 V8 (which is the only Lexus I would consider) or the Supra but that is 90 % BMW even built at BMWs contractors Magna Steyr plant and only has some tuning tweaks by Toyota, in which case you are effectively recommending a BMW! As for CVT they are just crap! I’ve owned BMWs over 25 years now and hardly ever had any issues and have zero regrets! As you say life is too short to be driving boring cars or EVs for that matter. Speaking of which the example you gave for the EV Mercedes loosing 50% in a year isn’t a Mercedes thing it’s an EV thing all EVs no matter the brand their values are falling off a cliff!
