Sometimes you can find pepitas near the salad dressings, by the toppings, or you might try in the isle where they have the mixed nuts! I've found them in both locations. 😉♥️

I don’t like celery in my salad so I do pickles, grapes, mayo, mustard, sometimes almonds, pickle juice, and chicken, hard boiled eggs if I have time. Serve on toast, so good!

You can also whip the cottage cheese in a small food processor or with the immersion blender for a very smooth texture I would always add some nuts and apple pieces to this kind of chicken salad but it's all a matter of personal preference. Thanks for the video

I've made a super easy chicken salad before that was tasty! I just bought a container of cheddar bacon ranch dip at Walmart, and stirred in shredded chicken to that! We ate it on croissants. :)

I cannot believe ya'll were in Shelby!! We watched the other videos where you guys were uptown and we live 5 minutes from that area!! My husband said you would have had a heart attack if you had seen them out!🤣We love your channel and the new channel Chasing Sunsets. I had taken a break from KZbin and seemingly got out of the mood to cook 🤣 but the Southwest Chicken Salad recipe definitely got me back in the mood. We made it last night and loved it! My husband put his on a lettuce cup and I made mine into a salad with the lettuce, used the SW chicken salad as a topping and broke up tortilla chips to go on top. My thought tonight with the leftovers is to make it the same method and add some dressing. Thank You for sharing!!

These are great salad ideas. I suggest to lighten the calories up you try reducing the mayo and add a small amount of fatfree greek yogurt and cottage cheese and puree it. You could always add a bit of the cottage cheese unblended for texture. 😊

for me the key to a good chicken salad is all the add-ins! once you start adding stuff in you can totally change the flavor profile. i saw a recipe recently where they made a thai inspired chicken salad with diced mango, cashews, cilantro, and curry powder. looked so good! definitely a great way to get creative in the kitchen

I make it all the time! I like it pretty plain, onion, pickles, celery, Mayo and I use the shredded canned chicken. I love it on a croissant with lettuce!

I have an egg allergy and therefore cannot have ‘normal’ mayonnaise. I went years without eating it and then, I found that exact mayo. I have had several since, but, the mayo that you are using, to me, is most like the taste and texture of mayo. Yumm. Is my fave!! I will definitely have to try it in chicken salad!!

I like my chicken salad (any variety) on the non-bread Naan bread dippers!!! When I find them at Walmart I get two and freeze one and defrost in the fridge and it’s not soggy when I do have it!!!! And yes on a lettuce wrap is great too on hot days yummy 😋 ❤ Oh and also to add a little tiny crunch I add sunflower seeds!!!!

Just so y'all know, you could blend the mayo with the cottage cheese in a blender(or food processor)and it would give it a better texture without the cottage cheese texture, but all the protein. Just saying 💜💐💜💐💜💐💜

I do a Buffalo chicken in the crock pot using chicken breasts place in the crock pot along with your favorite buffalo sauce (I use Franks) cook until chicken is cooked through probably on high for 4 hours, pull the chicken out and shred place back in crock pot and cook on low for about 2 more hours and serve with a small hoagie roll with provolone cheese. ( if you do not like spicy tone down the Buffalo sauce by adding chopped garlic, about 8 oz. tomato sauce, 2 tsp. worchestshire sauce. If you like toast the hoagie roll.
