The little handles on the cover of the chicken shredder pop into place if you push down harder on them. Then they don't come out when you are twisting it or cleaning it. I bought one because of you and I love it!!! Shredding chicken was always one of my dreaded tasks, now it's fun! 😊

Once, the lid came off a Costco-sized parsley jar while I was making chicken and dumplings-what should’ve been a tablespoon turned into almost a cup! I scooped out what I could but left a ton in. Turns out, it was delicious, and now it’s how we make it every time!

My friend Cheryl and I discuss recipes all of the time and a few weeks ago I asked her what was the difference between potato soup and clam chowder? We both said CLAMS. I added a can of chopped clams with juice to potato soup and it was delicious. Try it. If you like clams you will love it. I also add celery and diced carrots to my potato soup but no onions.

It all looks delicious! I made your tomato soup Wednesday night and it was a hit! I made my boys grilled cheese, but I like cheese toast and slightly burnt on top, or really brown, I think it gives the cheese so much flavor. My dog Buddy sat at my feet begging for my crust, because I don't eat it. Funny how they know! I know Gideon brings y'all so much comfort. My Benji has been in kitty heaven almost a year and I miss him so much. My husband bought me a little blanket for Christmas last year he ordered off Facebook that he sent a picture of Benji and they put it on the blanket. I will treasure that. I love crockpot recipes! They are my favorite! They all look delicious! I made the Santa Fe chicken last week, but I added chicken broth because I wanted soup. That soup looked so yummy. It's in the 50s on Hilton Head today. I'm eating crockpot chicken chili for lunch. It's perfect for this cold weather!

I make the Sante Fe chicken like you did except I don't season it with garlic powder. I season with Chilli powder. And I don't use Rotel I use a jar of salsa. Mine is an old Weight Watchers recipe. That's one of our go-to dishes during "Crockpot Season". I lived in NC for 10 years, Food Lion was my favorite place to shop. I miss it being in Ohio.

The other day I made split pea soup with canned peas. Sauteed onions, celery, & carrots. Then one cup of chicken broth and the peas. After it was done I pureed it then added some evaporated milk. Pretty good!

I love potato soup. For my version I use hash browns and a few chopped fresh potatoes. That way by the end its creamy, but you need to mash anything. I'm also not a fan of ham and don't care for bacon in food ( I know it's crazy 🤪) so I substitute will kielbasa sausage. That sausage so makes up for the bacon and ham. To put it in the words of Stephen... It's amazing! I also add shredded carrots. Otherwise it's a very similar recipe. Now I need to make some.😊
