Truth. Nothing like walking into a job everyday and negative vibes just hit you through the doorway. It’s hard to stay motivated and work hard, when you feel everyone around you is taking advantage of the “workhorse” mentality. It drains the soul.
@roselandpetals3 ай бұрын
Times are changing and people are opening up to stop this mentality though. Life is short and we've been trained to spend so much of it being loyal to toxic, trash employers out of a weird sense of duty. Screw that. If they treat you like crap ANYWHERE plan an exit strategy.

That is true. However I personally have been in a place where change occurred. Three of us came on over a 5-month period. Being newbies we got together and decided we wanted the negative crap to change. And the three of us did turn it around. Look for the next new person. Then just be positive with them. Encourage them. You might be surprised at what happens

The answer is gratitude! It can be as woo woo or spiritual or religious as you like. It can be just thanking the random series of circumstances that took you to that point. It can be about a good coffee, sitting under a tree on a hot day, ANYTHING! ideally say it aloud. TRY IT FOR A WEEK! Gratitude brings ypu to the present moment. No past no future. I didn't think it would work - but it does. It's free, takes less that 20 seconds and day ❤

Three patterns you focus on first: 1. Have/ have not 2. Can control/cannot control 3. Past/present/future So I guess we create new beneficial patterns by consciously focusing on what we have, can control and what is(present).
