3 Days Solo Remote Island Survival Spear fishing and wild camping in a hammock on my own little slice of paradise.
Day two of solo spearfishing survival on a tropical island in Fiji with my hammock for wild camping. We get wet in more than one way in the second episode during and after spearfishing but luckily I was able to great a great fire going to cook off some delicious dinner. Eating coconuts and fish. Building my base with a bamboo drying rack and foraging for some home items.

All fish were of legal size and were speared for consumption. I abide by catch size limits, daily takes, and no fish zones. Over the past 5 years now I have made the commitment to no longer buy fish, so I only eat the fish I catch.
Spearfishing is the most sustainable form of fishing on the planet, it is also the most environmentally friendly form of fishing.

Have you had any issues with ciguatera at all? I know its present in the larger fish, but what about even good size trout and red bass?

I have not had any poisoning which is great but ive limited the amount of reef species i eat and avoid all fish from ciguatera hotspots taking some local advice too :)
