I make what I call tomato cups. I take rotel plus sharp cheese grated plus a 1/2 cup mayo and pickled jalapeño. I used tamed but depending on your taste you choose. Bacon pieces plus pepperoni pieces. Mix all that together and season with garlic powder plus fresh dill. I then take Pillsbury flaky biscuits and take them apart in layers. I usuall get 3 or 4 layers per biscuit. I spray a mini muffin pan with Pam then I take 1 of my biscuit layers and put in each muffin spot and spread it out and up the sides. After doing all 24 spots, I put my mixture in each one and top each with a little more cheese. I then bake at 350 for about 20 mins. Just till top is melted and a little bit brown. I get them out of the oven let cool about 5 mins. I pop each one out and serve. When I cook them I make 48 at a time. I never have any left overs. My brother alone will eat at least 10. They just disappear. Please give them a try. The most important thing is to take the biscuit apart in layers( do not use grand biscuits. They are too big ) and do not leave out the dill. It makes that much of a difference. Sheila

Here's a trick if you haven't let your butter sit out long enough to soften. All you have to do is stand the butter up on a plate, then fill a glass with hot water from the sink. Let the glass sit for a few minutes to warm up. Then, pour out the water and put your heated glass on top of the stick of butter. Let it sit for five minutes, and voila!

Try drizzling the breakfast casserole with syrup. Delish!!! Also, when making the blueberry monkey bread, spray your pan with "Baker's Joy". It will prevent it from sticking better than just spraying it with oil.

I love your mixing bowls by the way.,..I'm just saying. I'm not from the south but I like to use herbs and fresh ground pepper, so anytime I'm using eggs I put in tarragon, which a lot of people don't know anything about but oh my! does it add a lot to eggs! you guys try this in your bacon and egg biscuit casserole! It also adds a lot to mushrooms... I also find a easy add in to a lot of these recipes that you're doing would be chopped up spinach or parsley to get a easy green in there.

My family has made a dessert we call chocolate biscuit pudding. You bake a 5 count can of biscuits according to directions and make the filling for a chocolate pie. Then divde the biscuits in half horizontally and layer five halves on the bottom of an 8x8 casserole dish, cover with half of the pudding. Repeat the layers. Make the meringue with the egg whites and spread on top of the pudding. Bake until the meringue is lightly toasted. Basically the same thing as chocolate pie except with biscuits instead of a crust. My daughter asks for this for her birthday every year. I will have to try the blueberry monkey bread, looks delicious!

I love it when you get in the kitchen and show us great treats! ❣️ Oh my goodness, these all look so wonderful! 🤗 I love breakfast casserole! 😋 I think I'll try the monkey bread with cherry pie filling! 😁 Have you ever made a chicken pot pie using biscuits for the top? You can just roll or press the biscuits out a little and just lay them on top of the pot pie. I used to get the whole wheat biscuits and they were heavenly! 😇 My sister takes the biscuits out and separates them then cuts a hole in the middle and fries them and sprinkles cinnamon sugar on after they're done. Quick and easy donuts. 🍩 You can also cut them up for dumplings. And the layered biscuits would be perfect for separating and cutting and dropping into your pot of chicken and broth. And using the layers to wrap around breakfast links gives you a sort of pig in a blanket. And you can cut biscuits a little bigger and mix in cooked bacon and cheese (cheddar), a treat that's also good on fries. 😉 I've also seen biscuits pressed down in a baking dish and cooked off a bit then it's a crust another breakfast casserole or a different savory dish. And you can make all kinds of monkey breads, both sweet and savory. I watch Catherine's Plates a lot and she once had a video using biscuits and she made things I'd never seen before. Wonderful things! 😁 Well thanks for making me hungry. 🤤 Thank goodness I have biscuits in the fridge! ☺️ Now I just need to figure out what I'm going to make first, 🤔 But I'm going to the kitchen to see what I can wrap a biscuit around. 😋 Hey you should do this with potatoes! I have some giant potatoes from Sam's and have been going through recipes to use them. I did find one recipe where you cut the potato into thick rounds, brush with oil and seasoning and bake a few minutes. Then add cooked chopped bacon and parmesan cheese and put back in the oven to melt the cheese. A wonderful appetizer or side dish. ☺️ So if you want to do an episode of potatoes, I'm game! 🤗 Thanks for sharing another great video and making me hungry! 🥰

You can melt butter on the stove, and reheat food on the stove too, or in the air fryer! I haven’t had a microwave for years. There’s lots of ways you could have gotten around it until you gotten a new one! 🙂
@venusgal27062 жыл бұрын
You sound like me. I'm a stovetop person. I have a microwave and wonder why I have it taking up counter space, I head for it so very rarely. I don't prefer to cook anything at all in it nor even melt butter. I may warm up the occasional cup of coffee and that's rare. I like most leftovers cold and if not, again I just warm a portion up in the air fryer or in a pan if soup or something. It is honest to God my least used appliance and that's an almost never.

How can we live without a microwave? When I was but a lad of 11 years in 1961, I would fetch two pails of water for Mrs. Tate the elderly widow lady who lived in the country down in Alabama. She could make the best mouthwatering Blackberry Cobbler in the world, and she did it in a wood burning stove. I remember picking fresh vegetables out of Grandpa's garden. Sitting on the front porch snapping beans and shucking corn ears. Life was much simpler.

Love watching you guys. You are so much fun! And the recipes "ain't bad neither" as heard in Hillbilly town. I love biscuit dough recipes, stove top stuffing recipes, any convenience food recipes where when using them you end up with "semi-homemade", real deal delicious eats where you let the store do part of the work. Like using rotisserie chicken to save time and work. I'd love more biscuit dough recipes please. By now I'm sure you have your microwave but should you ever be without one again and need to soften butter stand your stick of butter upright on a small plate or saucer and cover it with a tall glass that held very hot water for a few minutes. You've just made a little butter chamber. The heat given off by the glass enclosing the butter softens it quickly. It works!
