Awesome! This saved my back after it began twinging severely from an overdone weight workout+swim. Now, I use it proactively to stretch out after any heavy workout. Thank you, guys!

Bob and Brad thank you for your videos. Weeks ago I tried to move a big desk by myself and ended up hurted my back. I came across to one of your video in frustration, I thought I wasn't gonna able to walk again. But after only one day practicing the three movement in it including the Mc Kenzie approach. My pain decreased a lot and I mean A LOT. Now I barely feel any pain anymore. I will never able to pay you for this. Thank you

Oh my goodness: Thank you, thank you, thank you!, Bob & Brad! The “windshield wiper” and others have done wonders already on a strained “shaker”-type pain from overdoing exercising (middle age man). I am especially grateful at your cautious advice for not pushing through pain but “bump up to it” on one side andr then do the other side fully if it doesn’t hurt: I did that, and after half+ the muscles relaxed w gentle stretching, the other side calmed down to let me move a bit more. I’m going to go out for a short walk now!👋

Love this! Please give more advice for the lumbar spine, the lower back, more exercises that will strengthen that area. Would core exercises also help and which ones? My job has me standing 2-3 hours at a time and my lower back starts to hurt, but the pain goes away after resting for a few minutes sitting down. Weak lumbar muscles, right?😲

Really love the channel. Thank you for all your efforts. Not sure if you take requests but I have a really funny injury that I'm struggle to self diagnose, understand or even find details of. I have checked your hand videos and I don't think they really relate to my issue. I moved to a new house and had a huge volume of flat pack furniture building and screwing into wood. I overdid it. I now get pain when gripping things, and the pain is localised to the between my index and middle knuckles, right in the middle. Not sure if it's a tendon issue or muscular, or how I should be treating it. It's been over a month and it hasn't healed itself sadly. I feel I should start strengthening now but no idea how to attack it. Thanks for listening.

I was advised to do the press ups (not by Bob & Brad). Continued to do them for a few weeks, until the 3 smallest toes on my left foot started to go numb. Went back to doctor, got an MRI and was told stop doing press ups. Toe feeling has not returned in the 2 years since, but it has not progressed. Be careful.

Cat when you arch and cow when you drop your stomach. A really nice thing to do is to, when transitioning from cat to cow, is to bring your buttocks back to your heels and bring your chest through as your stomach drops. Almost like a snake movement. Feels lovely for the spine and I've got a lot wrong with my spine!

I’ve been having problems with my lower back for some years now, it comes an goes sometimes it won’t bother me for months but then all the sudden it will start up out of nowhere, usually my lower right side, and I can’t hardly move, bend, can’t even get dresses or even put my socks or shoes on, I’m having a spell as we speak, I am at the point I would do about anything to get some relief, I’m usually down for several days to a week at a time when it does this.. and no pain meds help at all, heat and ice doesn’t seem to help much either,

I was reading "Back Mechanic" and Dr. McGill doesn't recommend doing the first exercise (as in twisting the legs and hips) for everyone. What do you guys think?
@cameoellis13633 жыл бұрын
I know I have had three surgeons tell me no twisting! I did once without thinking and thought I was going to die! I’ve had 5 back surgeries. My multi level fusion failed, a screw broke, and everything shifted to the left a few centimeters. Yes it was as painful as it sounds. I didn’t do anything wrong I squat/leaned (like PT & surg) approved and I had been doing for a few months and POP! I’m going to try a few of these but we’ll see.
