This is a fast and easy crochet blanket that you can make in just 3 hours.
Crochet blanket written pattern:crochetdreamz....
If you enjoy easy crochet patterns, you will love this crochet baby blanket. Made with Bernat Blanket yarn, this crochet blanket pattern for beginners will be your best friend when you need a last-minute gift.
The crochet blanket is so soft and squishy. You wouldn’t want to put it down. The crochet stitch pattern is a very easy single row repeat that you can easily memorize. You can make a crochet baby blanket or make one for your home. I am sure you would want to make several crochet blankets once you try it.

I can't thank you enough for this video! I'm new to crochet - started at 67 (it's never too late to learn something new)! I made two blankets using #4 yarn and they took f-o-r-e-v-e-r. I said no more of those please and then found #6 baby yarn and this 3-hour blanket. Thanks to your instruction I've now made close to two dozen of these! I can't get it down to 3 hours, but I can do them in 4 and it is so satisfying. You've made a real difference in my work and these blankets wind up going to hospitals for children. Thank you so very much.

One of the most difficult things for me as someone who is trying to learn to crochet, is not learning the stitches, but understanding where I am supposed to insert the hook. You do an excellent job of showing this and explaining what you are doing. You also have a good camera angle and focus on the work, so this is easy for me as a beginner to follow what you are doing. You are an excellent teacher. I hope you will be making many more videos. Subscribed! 👍

the best part of this video is just explaining simply how to insert hook at the top middle of the triangle without a lot of fancy talk or eliminating that explanation which is so important. Thank you! These are the types of videos I look for. simple, precise explaining. Going to try this. The only thing I will change is Ill do 2 rows of each color so the color change will meet up at the end and I won't have to keep cutting off to change colors bc weaving in those ends takes a long time.

My Nana recently re-taught me how to crochet (she taught me about 15-20 years ago) and I've been trying to make a very small blanket for my niece who is due in February. This tiny blanket is taking me forever, and I've been very discouraged so I havent picked it back up in a couple weeks. For my families Secret Santa this year, I selected my Nana and I really want to make her a blanket. I think that would mean way more to her than buying something. This was the first link I clicked after searching "fastest crochet blanket" and I believe I dont have to search any longer. This is what I'll be making for my Nana. :) Thank you so much!!!!

Luckily I managed to purchase a pile of yarn just before lockdown, so this will be perfect for my first grandchild who is due in one week! Do you have a video of crocheting a baby blanket with just one color? I’ve never crocheted before but I want to try this but just use one color.

I have a question! How do you keep the back of the double crochets from looking lumpy? I've noticed that when I make the double crochet, there's loose yarn, but I've kept the tension the same.

Mmm, I think you might have to go down a hook size and see if that fixes the issue.

So I'm trying to at a different color at the bottom I ran out of the middle color and used a different one to make the blanket Semitical top and bottom. But I don't know how to start the bottom in reverse. If anyone has ideas please let me know

Totally thinking of using this pattern for my weather blanket!! Can you change the type of yarn you use but still use your pattern? I've crocheted for about two years and am getting back into it. Thank you so much for posting!

I’m wondering what I’m doing wrong! I’m working with just 1 color, so maybe that’s messing it up. I have a lot of holes in my blanket! But I’m following the directions to a T, and even restarted to see if maybe I missed something. Help? 😅

The blanket does have holes but if they are too big, switch to a smaller hook.

Do you think I would be able to use two strands of three ply Mandela yarn together to crochet this blanket? I have lots of Mandela three ply yarn that I would love to use so I was just wondering if two strands of it held together would work? Thank you! I love this pattern and wanted to make a few blankets for Christmas presents
@crochetdreamz

Yes, absolutely. The blanket might turn out a little smaller. So you might have to check your gauge before you begin.

Couldn’t you have two skeins of white and two skiers of gray going? Just keep picking up the color at the end of each row. Then you wouldn’t have any ends to weave in.
@crochetdreamz

Yes, you can do that. I just like the look of changing color every row.
