Yes - thinking and being rely on the absence of each other for their definition. When one is BEING present, they are not thinking. All very excellent questions. My main takeaway is that I can set down the comfort blanket of thought. There is actually more safety and "resources" available here and now as me as emptiness. There is an intelligence here before thought that can navigate better than thoughts could ever conceive. I can put down the fight and just be.

Yes it's a huge trap to compare our experiences to others. Also we should not seek for amazing mystical experiences. They will lead to craving and attachment, and thereby, suffering. If we simply stay present and focus on the practice, that is enough.

Every time whatever this experience is contracts it feels more and more intense. But it seems to dissipate faster than it used to. I find these pointings to feel almost condescending when identified with thought, I believe that there's no hope in those moments. But suddenly that experience is seen to be just a story with no hold on reality. It's really cool watching this happening, even when it hurts like hell

Some of my fav takeaways them are: @42:18:00 The rain outside cannot affect you as you are shelter from it, similarly what you are, emotions cannot hurt you, as you’re sheltered from it and @1:07:31 The real letting go is the letting of the resistance to emotions that happens naturally through observing emotions judgementlessly. This is going to sound like a crazy question. However, I'm having difficulty at times, usually when interacting with someone else, being awareness instead of getting totally immersed as the person. As I watch you answer questions for example. How do you say, " I'm not the one answering the question just because you notice yourself answering". I'm the awareness. Ok great, but now what. Like working on positive self-talk, but if that's not me, what do I use as a guide in my life?
