"one of the misconceptions we human have is another day is guaranteed..." wow.. That is so true.

I love how liberating it is to think of everything as being created twice. It means we always get a second chance, which is so comforting as someone who gets paralyzed with even starting, thinking everything has to be perfect.

Thank you so much for sharing this. I’ve been stuck in a “I need to do this” loop this holiday season and everything you shared really resonated with me. “I get to do” so much today. Thank you! Happy holidays to you and your lovely family! ☺️

I have never heard of the ‘I get to do’ concept. Does it mean I enjoy doing those things, I am doing them under no pressure? I just need a bit more clarification on this. Great video. Thank you! What you mentioned in this video is subtle in life but very important.

It means being grateful you can do something. For example, people complain about having to study for university, but at least they _can_ be in university. Many people would love to have that chance but are poor or have developmental issues. People complain about having to walk to be healthy, but at least they _can_ walk. Many people, again, would love to have that chance but are either very limited or completely dependent on a wheelchair. Think of doing things more as celebrating your fortune, rather than a pain.

I think if I imagine a situation where I can't do those everyday things-for example, if I face a situation where I can't see my kids-then I will desperately wish that I could do the things that I now often feel are redundant or tiring. That doesn't mean I think the responsibilities and work I do become easy, but if I change my mindset, thinking that I can still do those things today because I can see my kids today, then I get to do it with a more grateful heart. I think that's what it means...

I agree. but I heard from one of the youtubers I watch that if they get rid of all the ads then algorithm don't let people to see the videos. they don't recommend the videos. It kinda made sense to me.

For me, $23/month for YT premium is well worth it for the amount of time I spend on this platform and the value I get from the channels that I subscribe to (like this one) . Then, no ads, ever.
