I'm not sure what your aim is with this comment but women cheat just as much if not more in this day in age. Women also instigate at least %70 of divorces in this day and age so you might want to rethink your old ways that it is only men that cheat as this is definitely not the case. Bit out of touch I think ;)

Everybody has a bad day, week, year, mental health issues etc. and both partners should be patient and understanding of that. If a partner is chronically negative for years on end though, that is a different thing.

Have you looking into codependency and therapy? Helped me see that it was a me issue and gave me ways to self sooth. I hope this helps. You are worthy of self love!

@@magneticfishingmadness Why I think she isn't is because there is no affection or closeness between us, she doesn't want or allow me to give her any. I'm trying to understand her but as communication is difficult because we spend so little time together it's not easy. She prefers to hide herself away and not be with me a lot. There is no arguments really, and certainly no physical abuse, emotional that's different. I am having counselling, my wife has had lots of counselling because of her abusive upbringing and 1st marriage. Praying, I've done that constantly. Thanks.

I am going to a MC at the moment, on my own right now, although I have mentioned it to my wife, but I feel she's not interested in going as a couple because I believe from her point of view there is nothing wrong. I think she's ok with the way things are now and there's nothing I or she can do, according to her, to change that.
