I love to watch you quilting I have learned so much from my I have never checked in with you before but I just happened to see the video where you lost your son. I have also lost my son the hole in your heart never goes away. Working slowly on something will help you but it will never take away the hurt you are different and you will never be the same you just have to love who you are and especially give all the love you can and everyone around you.😢

Hi Tiff, Thankyou for these quilting ideas, it is great to have more doable quilting ideas to choose from, I quilt on my Skyline S5 Janome machine and find you can do most quilting designs on a domestic machine! currently hand quilting a quilt for a Birthday surprise for a very dear friend, finding it slow going but it looks beautiful, don't think I would do such a big quilt next time! Stay safe ,nice to see you back doing what you love..💖

Thanks Tiff! This was so helpful and timely- I'm trying to quilt up some tops that have been sitting around for far too long. I work on a regular domestic machine and these designs look very doable. I like the variations too. Happy to see you looking all sparkly and enthusiastic about quilting again after the strain of the past few months. ❤ That spoon meander design reminds me of a curled leaf drifting along through the air.😊

@@TiffanysQuiltingLife that is exactly how I feel. Sewing is my therapy. I used to sew for hours on end. I can’t do that any more it hurts too much. But I feel so good. And each step brings me joy. It is wonderful to feel creative. And when one can’t do much it is empowering to be able to sew and create. Tiffany I have watched several of your videos. I bought the red rotary cutter, I have seen you use it so often. I didn’t understand how it would work. But it is great.and I bought it in the 65 size rotary cutter. And the thread cutter you use, I bought one. That really saves so much time. I’m currently working on a strip quilt for my granddaughter. You tips have been so useful. Now with the new rotary cutter I can slice thru several layers of fabric.and the thread cutter really comes in handy when chain sewing. What I have really focused on was how you focus on accuracy. Yes that is the correct word for you skills. Thank you for your help. I will be watching you.

@TiffanysQuiltingLife Жыл бұрын
I wanted a 18 inch machine in a lower end price range that we could afford. I made my choice on this one cause it was within my budget and was the size I wanted.
@afoley3617 Жыл бұрын
@@TiffanysQuiltingLife Is 18 inch as long as they come? Im really interested in buying one but am so overwhelmed at all the choices. Does yours have a robot and if not can you add one later? Thank you for answering my questions.
@TiffanysQuiltingLife Жыл бұрын
The more pricey companies make bigger machines. I think Gammill makes a 30 or something 🤔. I'm not on robotics or anything. I only fmq. But it could be added if I wanted. The machines with robotics cost way more. Unless you can find a used one. I looked at used before I got a new one. When it comes to only doing hand guided free motion quilting, I don't really recommend more than a 20-24" machine unless your tall with long arms. Anything bigger are more for those using computerized. All in all it's a tough choice depending on what your needs are. There are so many great longarm companies out there. Here is a link to the machine I have shrsl.com/45j8k incase ya wanna check it out.
