I still get where he is coming from. If someone gives me food, I eat the entire portion as to honor the gift. Even when cooking I eat everything, even if it takes over a hour. I’ve eaten an entire box of thin spaghetti. Why did I make so much? Because my nieces asked for it, but then my sister came back with takeout for them. So, not wanting to waste food, I ate it all. Yes, I have tubberware, yes, I can “reheat it”, but it never tastes right with my cooking when reheated.
