Love your videos, honestly. I watch at least two episodes before bed every night just because them enjoy it so much. Lately I've been a little sick so and I'm not allowed to cook much, but I cant WAIT to get back into the kitchen to start making some of these recipes, especially the rice pudding which is my all time favorite dessert. Thanks for being such a big inspiration in my life, as I've tried making a few of your dishes (always forget to take pictures because my friends and I eat it all before we remember to do it!) You guys are the best! :)

Great video! But I found strange how you did polenta. I'm italian and polenta it's one of my favorite winter dish and my grandma always cooked it adding polenta ( i think it's cornmeal in english) in boiling water (salted) and then you stir for 40/45 min until it thickens and then you serve it! It's great even the day after if you slice it and cook it in a pan until it darkens and becomes crunchy. I'll definitely try the vanilla rice pudding! xx

Whole milk is wonderful for soaking your feet. However I mainly use it for marinating frying chicken. Having a family I buy chicken in bulk, then I SORT what I will use for frying, put it in a freezer bag, cover with milk & freeze it. After its thawed, the milk seems to tenderize & coat the chicken so my award worthy fry mix can stick in all the nooks & crannies of the now succulent bird. Yumba!

My family is from Bangladesh, so my mom made rice pudding with lots of other spices, like cardamom and cloves. So what I do is I infuse the milk with cinnamon stick, nutmeg, cloves, cardamom, star anise and bay leaves. Once it comes to a boil I let it steep for about 10 minutes. Then I strain it, put it back on the heat, add sugar, brown sugar and stir it until the sugar is dissolved. Then I add my rice, bring it up to a boil and simmer it until the rice is cooked. I then add raisins during the last 5 minutes of cooking so when the pudding is done, the raisins are nice and plump. Lastly, I season with just a pinch of salt to enhance all the flavors and spices. And that's my Indian Rice Pudding: Orv-ed!

at my house we make arroz con leche differently. we usually boil water with a cinnamon stick and then once that's all cinnamony water goodness we add left over white rice into the pot with milk and as much sugar as u want (take out the cinnamon stick), stir it until its well combine and let it simmer. Then it becomes a pot of deliciousness. At least that's how we make it :D my abuela puts raisins and nuts in it.

Its just regular cow milk, but the worst part is that i cant even have regular everyday items with traces of milk in them. I also became allergic to eggs and sunlight. All 3 things at once and suddenly, it haven't been confirmed by the doctors yet, but its highly possible. You dont miss it until its gone I guess...

Just use other kinds of milk: rice, soy, almond, coconut etc. You can look up on the internet. You shouldn't restrict Yourself from things You really like, especially, when they could be made in different way but taste quite the same. ;) Eggs could also be replaced. I know about three ways to replace the eggs, don't know how much there are in total, lol. I hope You get well soon, You know? I've heard lots of people who were allergic to this, to that, but it seems like their bodies were more sensitive to a lot of modern factors than others and after they changed their lifestyle every sickness and allergy was gone.
@rhyfelwrDuw10 жыл бұрын
That's not good! I'm lactose intolerant so I use Rice Drink or Soya Milk, although friends have told me Almond Milk is good (not so if you're allergic to nuts)! I'm also trying to go Gluten Free as I think I am either gluten or wheat intolerant (although porridge oats aren't gluten free, they are wheat free so I could have those if it's only wheat I'm intolerant to). Try replacing the items you're allergic to with ones you're OK with - if you cook your own food this is easier!
