2 questions... 1 - What are your thoughts on OR have you programmed your own drum breaks in FL? I've been trying and I feel there's an easier way than how I'm going at it. 2 - Did you end up watching Cowboy Bebop? (you didn't see my question in stream on Sun). PS - it ain't the camera, you always look like Big Foot (with a fancy boy haircut). But that's what makes your videos so endearing!!!
@NavieD4 жыл бұрын
Making my own drum breaks is something I seldom do. It takes a lot of sound selection and processing in order to get things to sound cohesive. I'd rather just use a loop. I have not watched any animes yet, I have been working on my course unfortunately :( I think you're right. I am just naturally blurry
@walterayyo42394 жыл бұрын

Have you idea where I can get drums which sounds like that? And what vst's would be good to get this kind of melodies. I want to do some kind of boom bap beats, but with that atmospheric, dark vibes. Should I get something like Omnisphere? The drums are like pretty basic, but fits perfectly in the beat. Even when I'm tryna do a remake of beat like that, especially the snares sounds awfull... "Fox's Request" Underground Old School Hip Hop Instrumental Dark Boom Bap Beat By Klaxy Beats - Here's the example of beat that I'm talkin about

But if the mainloop sounds boring after just 4 bars, wouldn't it be better to rewrite or rework the main loop?
@NavieD4 жыл бұрын
The idea here is that no matter how good your 4 bar loop is, it's still going to be a good idea to introduce some variation within the arrangement. And using this technique in the video is one way of doing so
