The bite in northern Kentucky right now is on fire, I caught 25 bass in 2 days this weekend on spinnerbaits locally. Crappie hitting on every cast Friday. Completely changed my mind about fishing in October.

Tyler - You have become one of my top 3 KZbin creators I watch and I'm always excited to watch your new vids. You have a way of delivering your message that is unique and well presented. As one of the commenters on this video said, you have turned me into a better fisherman. Now I just need to work on being a better boat captain and using the trolling motor foot pedal better. Thanks for all you do.👍

Sounds like good advice, I've done some of this never been good at jig fishing. I've taken and tried advice from many different guys over the years and never really found anything that is sure fire especially around this hard pressured lake we have. I will give this stuff a shot and see how this fall fishing turns out.

Fishing here on the Ohio river (and tributaries) in Wood County, WV is particularly challenging. Your advise is helping me as I'm used to fishing in East Texas where the fishing is WAY better and easier. ALL the public water around here is moving and that takes some getting used to. Thanks for your content.

I’ve been hammering nice bass on a jig the past 3 days in a row. Best 3 days of fishing all year for me and I go almost every day. Not much luck with a spinner bait or crank or really anything else other than the jig. Caught a few small ones on a swim bait but nothing compared to the dark 3/8oz jig

Hey BFHQ. I'm stuck. I have tried almost EVERYTHING (jigs, Ned rigs, spinner baits, chatter baits, crank baits in all deps, wacky rig and texes rig) and I can't get a fish on the hook! Same ponds I have been going to for years. Tries deep and shallow but still nothing. It's mid October in the north east. Any help??

Hey Tyler once again you hit a bull’s-eye! My question now or I should say as challenges to hear your thoughts and ideas for moving water like rivers. I’m talking big rivers navigational rivers like the Ohio. Everything was about a lake but you know as well as I do Ohio River can produce some big fish this time of year. Keep the great info Coming ice will be here soon! Thanks for your time

Hey Ray....in a since it can be the same. I have seen down on the Ohio river that bass will spend their entire lives in some of the major creeks that dump into the main river..a lot of times though I find myself running up these small creeks further in the fall than at other times

By far the most success I’ve had this fall is throwing a big worm at hard targets. I’m in Ontario Canada and it’s been cold. Throw a big worm, big bass can’t resist. 😂
@Triple872 жыл бұрын
@Forrest Farris Yeah, an unpegged Texas rig. If you’re going to try it, use something with a ribbon tail so you get the slow fall. I’ve been using Berkley Max Scent King Tails. Large mouth have been eating them up. I’ve even had a few good smallies take them.

Maybe I didnt say what I was trying to say currently but in the video I said that the later in the fall you get, the more bites you will get with a 1/4 jig..but as i stated I typically start off the fall with a 1/2

The amount of times I’ve went fishing with someone on their boat and NOT caught fish with all their fancy electronics is laughable. I catch more fish when I analyze the water and think for myself , putting myself in the right zones and fishing confidently has caught me more fish and bigger fish, from the bank.
@MrPmsavage00111 ай бұрын
