It's incredible how much you can do even in the free version. Who needs Adobe Creative Spy... I mean Cloud?

I firmly believe in the Law Of Attraction. I am currently working on a project, and I want to incorporate TEXT BEHIND MOVING OBJECT, and this video came to the rescue! Just in time for the final touches! Thank you (as always) for taking the time to put these tutorials together. Keep up the good work, sir. I will tag you once I finish my project which took place in Madison Square Garden. :)

Ahh, magic mask - one of my favorite tools! I use it in almost every single video I make :D

Good reinforcement for me. Magic mask is great but can easily lose it's track even on still images. Bernd from VFXStudy advises to lock the magic mask node in fusion before moving on. There is a little padlock symbol at the top of the inspector. Works a treat.!!!

Thanks, Jason! 🫡 I've been working for quite a while with DaVinci and sometimes with tracking objects but I cherish and enjoy your reminder video! 👏

Hello Mr Yadlovski! How do I track in the fusion page on the free version?

You can use a planer tracker. I show how to use it in this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/o4fdnYVvqcl9r6c

I have been thinking of buying some new mic equipment since i have a hyperX quadcast right now and have had it for 4 years. I have been looking around and found the Sennheiser MKE 600 and thought about matching it up with the Focusrite Solo 4th Gen do you think that is a good combo?. and thanks for the tips on how to organize sfx got it down and would like to start having stuff to record my own stuff

Nice! The MKE 600 is awesome, it’s my main mic. The Focusrite interfaces are good. I almost got one. I have the Audient EVO4 and it works great too.

@@JasonYadlovski Oh, I didn't realize that was your main mic. It sounds amazing! I checked out the EVO, but it's hard to find in Denmark, where I live, so I don't think it's worth the hassle. Plus, I kinda like having the dials and buttons on the front instead of the top, as it offers more flexibility to mount it under the desk or hiding it away a bit. But I'll add the MKE 600 to my wishlist right now since my birthday is coming up in a little over a month. Hopefully, I'll get some money as a gift so I won't have to spend too much of my own. And Thanks for all your amazing videos they have helped me a lot with video editing and sound design. The videos where you show the whole process of editing and everything in 1 hour is amazing

Wondering if we can lower the opacity of the objects that are in front of the text, to kind of see the text through them. And make the opacity increase / decrease as the video rolls.

Sure, I’d just use the opacity slider in the inspector of the edit page to do that, unless you’re using the fusion method.

Hi Jason hope you're well. Ive been trying to hide / cove up a few background distractions on a clips, I have been able to do it in the colour page with power window and tracking and alpha out. is there a way to make more the onc power window with alpha out in the colour page as I have tried but can't do it. I have added a second node but it then interferes with the first, both serial and parallel hope you can help many thanks ps I'm using the free version

I;ve tried this but, when I go into colour mode, the video preview window is very small with no way of increasing the size making it very difficult to mask around an object. I wish my preview screen was the size of what yours is lol.

You can zoom in on the window in the color tab. You should be able to middle mouse scroll or use a modifier key like shift, alt or ctrl to move, zoom, pan, etc.

If I can make a suggestion… Instead of taking all the ways you can mask some thing… which seems very haphazardly… Pick one of the ways and go into much more detail. Several of these options you seem to skip over very quickly and although I know what’s going on because I know how to do all this… From a beginners point of view you would lose them very quickly.

I agree with this. Step by step instructions are always preferable. It's the viewers who shall decide what parts to skip.
