Social media became the new great addiction of our modern age. As many other creators already did a social media detox I got curious and decided to try it for myself. So I deleted Instagram, Facebook, KZbin and Snapchat for 30 days. In the beginning, it was hard to break my habits, but after 2 weeks I started to see real results. I became more productive, focused and had an overall mental clarity. As I spent less time on my phone, I reconnected with many of my old friends and was able to use my time in many other ways. To be honest, I can only think of positive aspects that I took away from this detox. I encourage everybody else to do the same and I'm sure you will see the same benefits within no time. Enjoy the video!

If you die tonight, do you know where you're going? Did you know that Jesus Christ is the only way to Heaven and He loves you? Through Him, God offers you a FREE gift - forgiveness. All you need to do is repent, turn away from your sins and evil ways, from now on put your faith completely in Jesus Christ and be obedient to Him. Explanation: God doesn’t want anybody in hell because He loves us, but you must understand why we deserve hell and why those who refuse to live under His authority will go there. (Matthew 12:30) ''Whoever is not with me is against me, and whoever does not gather with me scatters.'' He gave us the law (Ten Commandments) not to make us righteouss, but rather to show us our sin (Romans 3:20). God gave us free will and since Adam sinned in the garden, sin is the nature of our flesh and we’ve all sinned. (Romans 3:23) and the law demands death to those who sin (Romans 6:23). For someone to be justified before God they have to be sinless, that's why everyone need Jesus Christ. None of us are good in God’s eyes, because for God good means moral perfection. We all have broken God’s commandments, we all have sinned in our lives so none of us are good. ‘’For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles at just one point is guilty of breaking all of it.’’ (James 2:10). ‘’For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.’’ (John 3:16) That’s why only Jesus can save us, because He lived a perfect and sinless life and is the only worthy sacrifice and died for our sins. We aren’t saved based on our good deeds/works, but only by the grace of God through faith. ''For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith - and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God - not by works, so that no one can boast. (Ephesians 2:8-9) He said ‘’it is finished’’ (John 19:30), which means He paid the fine for our sins (past, present, future) to be forgiven if we repent and trust in Him. ‘’Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord.’’ (Acts 3:19) Biblically, a person who repents does not continue willfully in sin. Repentance is a turning from sin, and it always results in changed behavior (Luke 3:8). While sorrow from sin is not equivalent to repentance, it is certainly an element of scriptural repentance (2 Corinthians 7:10). Do not play a hypocrite. (John 3:3) Jesus replied, "Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again." If you confess that Jesus is Lord (John 10:30) and believe that God raised Him from the dead, then you’ll be saved. (Romans 10:9) You are born again with the spirit of Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17). Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him. (John 3:36) Bible is the Word of God. You may ask how so because it is written by men. Just like a letter is written by a pen, so is Bible written by God using men. Bible/God's Word was written over 1600 year period by 40 different authors and 66 books, all leading to the coming of God's Son - Jesus Christ. There is consistency of revelation throughout a long time of period, many prophecies being fulfilled. In the Book of Isaiah you see details about how Jesus Christ suffered even if it was written a long time before His coming. In the Book of Daniel 500 BC you can read about Alexander the great who lived 300 BC. We are living in the last days and Jesus Christ will return soon. 2 Timothy 3:1 ''But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty.'' 2 Timothy 3:2 ''For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy,'' Luke 21:11 ''There will be great earthquakes, and in various places famines and pestilences. And there will be terrors and great signs from heaven.'' Matthew 24:39 ''And they were unaware until the flood came and swept them all away, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.'' Luke 21:31 ''So also, when you see these things taking place, you know that the kingdom of God is near.'' Mark 1:15 ''The time has come," Jesus said. "The kingdom of God has come near. Repent and believe the good news!"' Get right with God and start your relationship with Jesus Christ right now before it’s too late, because there’s not much time left!. "But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.’’ (Mark 13:32) You may start with a simple prayer from the bottom of your heart, TRULY believing that God listens and cares. (Jeremiah 29:13) ''You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.'' Get to know Christ through His word. At first I recommend reading Gospel of John and book of Romans. God bless you!

I love this video. Also, I would like to share my story. I've tried this method before but actually, it was not for social media, instead, it was for video games. At first, I could say that it was hard for me not to play the game as I used to every day, I started to find other/old interests of mine so that I won't be boring, specifically, I do some self-caring like workouts or basically going to the bookstore. After a few weeks w/o games, my life changed significantly, I don't have to worry about those negative comments about me while I was playing, my scores also improved, I have more friends, and realized that life actually has more things that I could be interested in too.

Just to let you know guys... I am 16 year old teen and from last 6 months I have deleted my social media accounts only for work purpose and to my closest ones I use whatsApp and many of you are saying that now we have addicted to KZbin yes. I agree but on KZbin atleast we do not have a connection with our known ones so the social pressure of showing off doesn't occur and we are really away from all the cringe things out there because social show off is a waste of life and from my experiences I persist that watching KZbin for good entertainment as it is essential too , for work and to talk to close ones WhatsApp and discovering new things around myself and within myself improving on my skills relating to the real world.... I am living best life ever without all that social media pressure I m proud of myself and thankful to God that I did it and I m never ever going back to it in my life again.... Hope so it motivates someone atleast a person so there life can change too like mine.... A tip.. At starting you may feel like going back but that time you may start writing your thoughts in a diary it may help.. Thankyou for reading. Jay swaminarayan

That's all lie screen time doesn't effect eyes at all I am 30 years old been using mobile from 15 years and more than 10 hours in a day because of my work from 10 years and I have got a great eyesight the only way mobile effects is that it makes you fatigue and a bit depressed sometimes

I have seen only 2 videos from you, and you already became one of my favourite youtuber. Thanks for sharing your content, it was really helpful. I have done social detox many times, funnily I started detox 2 days ago and I got this recommendation. Everytime I do a detox for 30-60 day I never actually did something productive I just replaced that time with Netflix or some other OTT. But watching you, trying new experiences, connecting with old friends, it was refreshing. PS: Background sounds were OP 🔥

I'm on a social media detox right now. I have uninstalled Instagram and Facebook. I kept SC because I never used it much anyway. It's been a couple of days since I uninstalled the apps and I feel so relaxed! It's almost like I'm cut off from the world and I'm just in my small cocoon doing things that I love. As there a lockdown currently in India, I can't really go out much. I spend most of my time juggling between internship and reading a book. It is honestly one of those feelings that you can experience only when you actually try it. I get to spend more time with my family and I'll cherish that forever. I'm probably not going to rejoin Instagram and Facebook anytime soon.

used to be a video game addict.. Gave up video games, became addicted to facebook.. 🙂 Gave up facebook, became addicted to youtube.. 🙂 Gave up youtube, became addicted to to animes and songs.. 🙂 Gave up anime and hearing excessive songs, became addicted to always being outside with friends or even alone till night.. 🙂 Then I realised things won't work for me like this.. Then I tried to mix all the things I did together but in a creative way.. I started to watch educational and scientific videos, started to listen to some motivational songs and also gave time to friends and family and well at least now I'm in a lot better mental state than I used be when I was mindlessly glued to one particular addiction.. 🙂🙂🙂
