I'll be honest with you I am no paint pouring know it all, but from all the videos I have watched I would try again, but only add the silicone to the white paint, and maybe try it as a swipe with the white being your swipe color so you have more control of the cells and where they bloom💓

I really like the result you achieved with the dimethicone. I am a beginner and am using bicycle chain lubricant - silicone. Just done my third one. Ok results - nothing like yours. Will try the dimethicone. I also did one spreading flotrol over the canvas first and that came out quite well. It is wonderful how brave you are with manipulating the paint after the pour - I hold my breath each time. Good job.

Hi Miriam. I am fascinated with anything to do with art and I enjoy watching these videos to learn about everything from new drawing and coloring techniques to anything to do with paint or painting etc. I came across your videos and think this will be my next hobby! Lol. I shared your video with my daughter-in-law, Izzy, and found out that this is something she has wanted to do for a long time as well, so...... I think I just found my partner in crime to help me try out a few of your videos! Lol. We had a few questions that you may be able to answer for us. The first is if you know of any other types of paint that can be used to make these? For the second, you mentioned in the video that the alcohol is doing all of the work making the dendrite fractals but since they can't be seen on the white paint, the acrylic fluid paint adds the color for us to see it. So we were wondering if you have ever tried adding food coloring or anything else to the alcohol to add color to it and if not, does it sound like something worth trying? We would love to hear your advice on this. Please keep making these awesome videos! Even if it is something I wouldn't personally try to do, your videos are still interesting enough to watch. You are so down to earth, natural and funny that you make me want to continue watching just to hear your opinion on it or the outcome of it all! Lol.
@shannonking30436 жыл бұрын
LOL! 😅😂 I have been watching all your videos and this message should have been left on the video you made about Dendrite Fractals! Lol. This one was amazing too and actually our 2nd favorite but everyone is probably wondering what in the world I am talking about! If they want another cool video then they should go watch that one too! I think maybe I will copy and paste my first message on the other video so it will make more sense! Lol. 😅😂

Oh my gosh I just loved your comments Shannon! You are so super sweet and thoughtful! I am delighted that you are enjoying the videos and that you have a friend to play with 😄 ... I will have to try the dimethicone. I was very unhappy the other day when I poured with the silicone. The cells were so teensy tiny. Just looked like a bad paint job. It was a small woodenTV dinner stand. Terribly difficult to move paint with unstable legs that won't lock. 🤦🏻♀️ Don't know what I was thinking. Thinking about a re-pour over it now with dimethicone. Hmmm....decisions decisions. Thanks for this test, Myriam. You make it look so easy. 👩🏻🎨
@MyriamsNature7 жыл бұрын
Kathryn, it really is as easy as you saw it on screen... Whatever combination of various dimethicones are in that serum do all the magic! Honest. I'm going to continue testing, but so far it's been foolproof. I definitely hope you get a result you prefer for your table 😊.

I don't comment all the time, I have extreme fatigue, it's been bad the last 2 days, yesterday I didn't wear gloves, I covered a glass bowl with polymer clay, I carried it outside to cure (UV resin) and the resin on my hand cured before I put the bowl down, the pain was intense, like something was burning through my hand, I looked and pulled the resin off fast, I have a few burns on my hand from the hot resin! I would love to show you the bowl, it's not often when I make something large like this.. I'm still watching your videos, yours are the best, others don't really teach like you do!
