Ask another person:"are you straight?" If they answer "Of course why do you ask that?" "It's a pity"

This is too funny, I ended up combining two of those - I mentioned my girlfriend on a family zoom call but acted like everyone already knew (it was pretty successful! Haha)

You can tell your sibling to ask you in front of your parents/family about your girlfriend/boyfriend or Wearing a tee-shirt with " 100% gay" on it on a family zoom call and act casually. That video reminded me how i came out to my extended family during a dinner. That was a fun moment.

I actually sort of came out to a person at work (where I just don't generally talk about my romantic relationships period), while discussing politics. They had said something to the effect that they really didn't want to hear people crying about the election results regardless of who won or who lost. My response was that, for you who is in the White House, probably won't affect your day to day life all that much, but for me, it might affect my life very much, including effecting whether I get to marry the person I love someday in the future...That person didn't really follow up with any questions, but they did say they hadn't thought about it like that before.

This video made me realise that I do come out, just not in a big "coming out" kind of event. I do it by just casually mentioning my girlfriend and talking like it's not a big deal, because having tested the waters over years, I have found that if I act like it's not a big deal, the person I am interacting with does the same. I'm feeling so blessed that this is safe for me. Please, if you have any doubt about how your coming out will be received, do it gradually and carefully. Safety first.

Haha I used the rumor one with my mom. I came home and told her I had a weird conversation with my friend (which I did), and they told me they have always thought I was a lesbian. I did not necessarily intend on coming out this way, but then she just asked me if it was true, and I said "welp, yeah". And thats how she became the first person I told :)

My sister outed me to my mother accidently in a conversation. Mom asked her what she said and she tried to put the genie back into the bottle by saying that I was OK. She then called me and let me know what had happened. The next day when I was talking to my mother I tried to bring it up and by saying that I heard that she had heard something about me from my sister. Mom acted like she had no idea what I was talking about so I finally cam out and said that I knew she had mentioned that I was gay. Mom said nonchalantly oh that I knew, I guess I have always known.

another great video, very informative, young people , particularly girls, are coming out earlier now, because society encourages them to explore their sexuality earlier, girls develop a sense of the world around them quicker than boys. As a straight grumpy old git, the only advice I can give is, that you canvass certain members of your family first, particularly if you come from a conservative background, "what do you think of..blah, blah." type of questions, you will get a better idea of how to commit yourself to anything when you know what the wind is blowing. It would be a good and practical idea if Tictoc and the rest of social media, encouraged younger people to 'come out' as straight, when applicable, as it would level the playing field for those who are not. Sowing the seeds of doubt in ways that Hannah and Sadie have suggested is a very sensible idea, if people think that you are in the community, then the onus is on them to ask the questions, putting you on higher ground. depending on the society that you live in you can react with either shocked denial all they way through to "I thought you all knew by now" Remember once you are over 18 years of age, you have the right to what I like to call reasonable self determination, the front door is only a few steps away, under 18 you must be more cautious. Sorry that this long winded. Stay safe.

On the zoom call, have partner come into screen and give non platonic kiss, then leave. Play it off as the everybody knows. Same with taking partner home for holidays.. just act as you do at home.. "oh no, we share the same bedroom...", "kisses, and I Love You's"... "honey"... "sweety".. nicknames.. socially acceptable PDA.. hand holding, pecks.. etc.. and again all the while, oh yeah... didn't you know

It’s so interesting to me that the idea of coming out is usually about sharing something that’s going to be overtly observable to others. But so many queer identities are separate/different from expression. That changes everything. Then it feels more like deciding whether or not to share a private thought... so many deep thoughts this morning. Thanks!

I was wondering if y’all could make a video about what you would’ve done IF her fiancé at the time had shown a more negative reaction when she admitted falling for someone else. My coworker/best friend and I have fallen for each other BUT she’s engaged and wanting to leave him, but he definitely won’t have a supportive reaction. He’s slightly manipulative. So... advice??? 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 love your channel.

As a bisexual woman I always planned on the non-announcement, show-up-with-my-girlfriend-as-if-it’s-no-big-deal sort of “coming out”. I just always assumed I would date both women and men during my life - but I’ve only dated men and have found my life partner now, so I have no idea how to come out! I just end up dropping a lot of hints that everyone takes as jokes while internally I am screaming “DUDES I’M QUEER”. I also change my mind all the time about whether coming out is actually important to me. Gah, the straights have it so easy sometimes!

Okay, i have some - they are a little nasty & you need black humor for it *g* 1. Start a rumor at the family fest, that you heard that someone is gay, and wait what happens - and maybe - how much come out *g* 2. If one of you´re family members came with a new partner, start a rumor - "is he/she straight?" - as this was the "unnormal" 3. wait until another member came out and yell "me too" or "as ever you ruined MY moment" 4. if you zoom or skype with your family, let your same sex partner "accidentily" walk thru the picture and be sure so say or make a gesture that´s clear for couples And if you really confident 5. Ask your family if they had become your sex tape / nude picture that you "accidently" sent to the wrong person - and if the shocking moment is over, let out "uff, lucky me, looks like i really sent it only to my girlfriend/boyfriend"

In my early 20' s , I believe, I did it alone with my Mom on a sunny day. Asked her if we could talk, she came and sat down and I totally froze. She asked nicely "Is this about you being a lesbian?" I felt like my mouth dropped to the floor! Still unable to say a word I just nodded my head. She said "I've know for a while and I still love you. I just want you to be happy" Even though I came out to my two siblings, I still never came out my father, a very prejudice man. I've know i was a lesbian since 1st grade being very attracted to a classmate but I never came out till my 20's to my mom. I would really like to have a gf now but all the lesbians near are in a relationship and I can't drive to hang out at popular places because I can't drive, so internet is my only socializing, if you call it that.

Gahh but wait we want to hear your review of Happiest Season!! I know people have big opinions on this movie and I am also one of those people. Lol. Harper was toxic af and she had no chemistry with Abby. I was glad they made Riley in a decent and down to earth character when they could’ve made her a vicious ex. Wanted her to get with Abby. I understand Harper didn’t feel she could come out to her family, but the fact that she fucking lied to Abby about coming out telling her she did and it went well with her family and then not telling her this fact until they were in the car on the way like wtf. Not okay to put Abby in that situation. But obviously the good thing about this movie was John. Like obviously love Dan Levy and John was just the most rockstar BFF so supportive!!!! And also #justiceforJane !! lol. I liked seeing Kristen Stewart in this role. Like I kind of feel bad she had her big break with Twilight bc then it’s like when you start out with something like that you just get pigeon holed into those types of roles but I really liked her in this role. Ugh I just wish they didn’t have to make Harper so toxic like can we get a queer rom com where there isn’t a toxic queer?? Like can it just be fun and good vibes?? Okay sorry I just had to get all that out lol

... and the film's review? haha well mine on IMDB on Friday was: ."Sadly sad, And the worst thing is that this is the most common in this world... "The more I know about people, the more I like my dog." , Everything you say today is a way of telling straight people , ok if you don't mind accepting me as I am... I'm so tired of the hypocrisy, the mistreatment of women for being a woman, the eternal religious stupidity, the pope in all his disguise. Although the film has a happy ending (?), how many families like that exist ..!!. how much sadness to cover the appearances of some. By the way, I´m not gay, every human being deserves to live her/his life the way they want!

*Consider this: What happens when your life is up, and you stand before Jesus Christ? What if he's real and you find out it's too late? There are no second chances after death. What will you say to him about it? Will he say "I never knew you"? Or "welcome home my child"? Your still alive as you read this. You still have a choice. There's only 2 places to go. Hell. Or Heaven. Seriously, what will it hurt to spend time in prayer with him? Ask him to show you what he wants you to see and do. If your serious with him, he will be serious with you. It's your eternity on the line. Don't let anyone stop you. Who cares what people think ✝️✝️✝️?*
