This week I am taking it back to the basics. As some of you may know, my Pilates training is in the classical method. I trained under Mari Winsor and studied at True Pilates NYC (Romana Kryzanowska) back in 2012. In this video I take you through one of my favorite classical mat pilates flow.
As with all of my workouts, moving with your breath and control is of upmost importance. Listen to your body, moving at a range that feels good to you! This series really focuses on precision and form, so if the pace gets too fast for you to maintain proper form, slow it down. I encourage you to make a conscious effort to initiate each move from your core. We do a lot of active stretching within this series and moving from your center is vitally important here. Move slow and with intention, strive for progress not perfection.
