Discovered this in March 2022 whilst sick with COVID. This practice is timeless!! At the same time, Shona's instructions on what to do if you're sick but still at work are like a time capsule, reminding us how normalized it used to be to go to the office even when you were contagious.

Excellent teacher!!! I absolutely love your sciencey explanations as you walk us through the poses. Many instructors take us through the motions, but you're actually teaching your "students" the benefits of the poses and breathing technique. Thank you!

I've been sick with the flu, and this gentle movement has had me feeling the best I have all week. Should have done it on day one. Next time, I will. I can't wait to explore your other classes. This was quite challenging in my current state - and yet, exactly what I needed. I couldn't sleep all night because I've had so much pain in my back. By now the pain is gone and I feel like my body is "up and working" to make me feel better soon. Thank you!

This was lovely; I was having a headache from my sinuses, but wanted to move. I’m so glad I found this. It was incredibly gentle, and this practice made me feel cared for. Thank you so much for sharing! Often, I’ve seen things like this where the person isn’t sick doing it; it stinks that you got sick, but wonderful that this came out of it. Thank you again!

This was an amazing one. I am sorta new on doing yoga, and I started while on quarantine on a cruise ship with a yoga teacher friend. But when we got sent back home it was hard for me to keep going with it. So I decided this Sunday to start challenging myself into 15 days of doing it with youtube videos, but by Monday I started to feel under the weather. Today I literally looked for "yoga when you're sick" because I want to keep going with it, and that's how I got here. It was like you were right here with me, thank you all the way from Brazil!

I am so hesitant to try new teachers on KZbin... but thank god I was sick and vulnerable because I loved this! Thankyou :) I am a performer turned personal trainer and don't usually get sick, but got covid which knocked me sideways and I finally felt ready to do something today and didn't want to be self directed! I HIGHLY recommend this video!

Felt super gunky in the joints as well! I was hesitant to do this so clogged up but it was the perfect pace and intensity made me feel so much better!

I absolutely loved this sequence! I am so sick and have been stuck in bed all day, called into work, barely made it to the store. I decided I needed to move a little bit and this is exactly what I needed! I'll be doing this sequence everyday that I am sick! Thank you! Namaste

Used this twice while recovering from the Corona Virus and although I don't know for sure, I feel as it though it has helped me work on my breathing and reconditioning my body to breath more fully after struggling with shortness of breath for 3 weeks. The flow was also gentle enough to help me get my body moving without overdoing it. Thank you!

ive been doing this every single time I have been ill, since June 2020, when I first got covid. Every single time I get sick I come back to this video and every time I am shocked at how much better it makes me feel! xx :)

Loved it. I've been working my body so hard recently (YTT, rock climbing, and weights) and it finally gave up and I got sick with some muscle-ache fever illness. Everything hurts. This made me wallow less in my own sorrows. Nice practice, thank you!

😭 Thank you for suggesting halfway through to check in and stop if needed. Thought I was ready for a full half hour but definitely was not. This is a great practice, I look forward to finishing the second half tomorrow.

I feel a bit better! Cleared my nose and coughed a lot of fluid throughout the practice ! I gotta say, this sequence on the wall is GOLD!! I never did all these variations of hip stretches up the wall and I'll be doing them again! Thank you so much for that ☺️ xx

I just caught a 2nd cold in the last 2 months, but this yoga has me feeling optimistic that my body is doing the best it can and healing in all areas and releasing all toxins. I just started my period as well. Really releasing what doesn't serve me. Thank you for this sick yoga, cause I love your channel and wouldn't have stumbled on it other wise 🙏🖤🌙

Shona that was amazing. I’m a runner and do a lot of suspension training also. I often workout 4 times per week and came down with a cold. Not wanting to not do anything this came as a welcome stretch and relaxing session. I need to do more yoga as I only really practice once a week. I really enjoyed the video.

Just done this after a weird 1 day flu - I seemed to get well really quickly but decided to cancel my PT session and do this instead to make sure I was fully recovered as work is stressful at the moment and I'm trying to listen to my body. Thanks Shona! My nose cleared halfway through which was good!

This is the first video I've done of yours and I honestly can't wait to do more!! ❤️ I really enjoyed your talking actually, I sometimes find during yoga my brain drifts off into other places or I keep wondering when the video will be over, but I was able to focus on enjoying the yoga while listening to you speak.
