Ahimsa... what a beautiful word. what an inspiring word. We practice permaculture here, care for the earth, care for the people... Ahimsa. I will be using this word and its beautiful lotus hand sign. Thank you for the inspiration and the beautiful morning stretch.

Ashley I am feeling so so grateful for you right now. In this whole pandemic I have managed to find fun ways to move and ways to clear my head so far but over the past few days I have had a lot on my mind and heart and needed some guidance. Finding this practice with you right now was exactly what I needed, and I am carrying Ahimsa and the three things about myself with me from it. Wow, Ashley. Thank you so much. This is just what I needed today. I haven't ever done a modified lunge like that and I really liked the attention it gave to my calves and hip flexors, as they are the primary spots I am feeling repercussions from my 14 mile hike on Tuesday. That was perfect. I really appreciated the Ahimsa practice as well. I wasn't familiar with the term, but the concept is one I always intend to hold and live by, so I appreciate that focus. I really needed it. As I lay on my back, hips open and you had us say three things we love about ourselves, I had a tear escape each eye and roll down my cheeks. By the end of the session, the upturned corners of my mouth and my watery eyes felt natural and true and I thank you for helping me to get to that genuine smile and self love this morning. A little personal note. This evening, my wife and I (who are separated and divorcing) will be holding a ceremony to consecrate and bring to a close our journey together as a romantic couple, as we move into a new relationship of pure friendship and co-parenting to our beautiful 3 year old girl. As you can imagine there has been a flood of feeling and emotion surrounding all of this, but we have been able to grow closer together over the last few months than we have felt in a very long time and we are both feeling the rightness of this. But it is still difficult and bringing in this practice and adding it to the loving kindness practice is just the perfect timing for the day ahead. So I can't thank you enough. As I move through my morning and day I will be listening to a playlist entitled "Let Her Go", which is a personal compilation of Xavier Rudd songs along this topic, which also bring peace and love and acceptance of this difficult transition in our lives. If you could please convey to him my deepest gratitude as well for his guidance and kindred light in this difficult and yet blessed journey. I don't mind sharing this personal journey note in a public sphere. Maybe there are others out there experiencing something similar and perhaps it will bolster their hearts to know others are traveling a similar road. Thank you both for your love and light. I often avoid more gentle flows as I tend to want to push myself on my mat. Thank you for the reminder that listening to our bodies is so so important. Definitely needed gentleness this morning.

Wow, this is incredible. I've just done this one first time ever just intuitively and you start talking about ahimsa...And this is what I needed to focus on today - I didn't even know that before starting this pratice... I even drop some tears during this self love moments. Ashley, thank you - you're doing a great job. I practice with you regularly.

This is for your 40 minute vinyasa flow vid (for some reason i couldn't comment) - you're the only KZbin yoga class I've found that feels like an in studio class blending philosophy and teachings with the movement. It's beautiful, thank you. Also, I listened to a great podcast on Yoga Girl's podcast channel about using Namaste (I'm a teacher too), thought you may be interested. Thank you for your time, your videos are great.

I love all your flows so much. I just started yoga for the first time at home last March 2020 when the quarantine hit, and yours are pretty much the only videos I like to flow to. You are so calming and peaceful. Thank you for getting me on the mat and keeping me here! Much love from the USA.
