Tim, this popped into my feed this morning! I had a late race last night and little sleep.. this has given me a relaxing, energising start to my day. I loved your tips for breathing well and working with the ribs. Thanks for a lovely class 🙌

Tim, it's so good to see you. I'm 9 weeks post-op from valve replacement/ open heart surgery and this was my first class back. I wasn't sure what I could manage with my sternum still healing and approached it very timidly but it felt great to be able to do most of it, though not deeply. Namaste.

Similar situation here, recovering from a shoulder injury from snowboarding and I haven't been able to practice for 6 weeks. This is the first one back, as my wrist feels better and my shoulder doesn't hurt by most movements. I also think mindful practice can help the healing process. Hope you get well soon, too.

@@dr.steverissman5438 Hey I am 28 years old and am actively an athlete (very high intensity) and a med student and got diagnosed with aortic regurgitation and mitral valve prolapse. What should I expect after the surgery and will I ever be able to workout normally after the procedure? Nobody seems to be able to explain to me whether I will be able to workout or whether I should turn to more aerobic low-intensity workouts... Thanks to both of you and I wish you all the best!

Thank you for this lesson. It is an effective cooling down and stretch after a pretty tough and late in the evening ergometer interval training. Also thanks for all the other lessons you shared! They are my favourite online yoga classes.

thank u for posting this healing practice. ur yoga videos make me feel more interceptive, and it's a game changer for someone who is learning and growing their yoga practice. i've been doing yoga for a while now but u rly understand and can articulate fully the movements and awareness of my body extremely well. i'm so grateful for ur videos! 🥰

Although not quite in the same league as Gina Hemmings (because our medical histories are of course, a competition :D) I have seized up following a hernia repair and then getting covid.
