This class is a 30 Minute vinyasa flow dedicated to the auspicious occasion of Maha Shivratri, a Hindu festival devoted to the Lord Shiva who represents the calming and balancing effects of a yoga practice. Class includes a brief 8 minute mindfulness meditation establishing the concept of equanimity & observation, then flows through repetitive and familiar vinyasas to induce a peaceful & meditative state inviting us to find our composure in movement and stillness. Enjoy!

Thank you so much for yet another beautiful flow, Fiona. On this International Women's Day, my practice was consecrated to the healing of the Divine Feminine. This and your flow state series made me feel like I was flowing and dancing - and afterwards I felt so relaxed like I'd had a day at the spa! 😉The Indian music was so beautiful as well. If you ever feel like using more of this as accompaniment to your classes, that would be wonderful! Thank you again for the energy and light you put into the world

Post-Menopause, body fat no matter what I do, trying to get back to the mat, this is AMAZING. I have been working my way up from 15m to 20m and now just about 30m. I had to stop at 24m but intend to do this routine for now as my go-to 30m. Why? It ticks all the boxes. A calming mediation (I am so stressed out) that takes you gently to the idea of 'I am going to exercise now', the comfort of a SLOWLY faster repetitive flow - not too demanding and complicated and means you don't feel disheartened by fast changing different poses and keep going (well-almost!), your muscles feel gently worked and therefore encouraged that you have actually managed to do 'better' and so feel good about yourself - so less depressed. Thank you Two Birds.

I love hearing your progression…. The struggles and wins… this is a win! I have a new 45 min class that I hope you’ll love. It’s a grounding flow. Thank you so much for this lesson, yes, it's in the cueing, the rhythm so versatile & homogenous as a tool to learn with, I can go anywhere following your directives; went far off-piste today, only to reunite at the lesson's end, your commentary so precise on where I was, it made me smile a lot, again, as if your x-ray-vision caught me at clenching my diaphragm in Sundial, "remind yourself of your breath", you said, I think, nearly me topple over..❤️🙏🏻

@@TwoBirdsYoga Same to you & family! -Sundial...as expected, lengthening the outer side is more difficult than contracting the inner one, but I'm getting there, poco a poco!

Magnificent lesson again, the meditation sobering & setting the pace - I've noticed, due to your teaching, my mind is much more quiet when I arrive in an Asana, a physical concentration as we find it when we know a movement & the neural organisation necessary for it very well. Thank you so much!!

Oh I’m buggered! But more from exercising :-) golf with mark this morn, then over an hour mountain biking. My knee is shot! Take care you! We have an outbreak of COVID again after nearly 2 months no cases. So back to mask wearing and limited social gatherings... so ready to say goodbye to 2020! Happy new year lovely 🙏
