so what we can all learn from this is: -If you're going to port a barrel, don't do it near the breech (idk why anyone would think that's a good idea, especially with rifle powders) (you can get away with it using shot/pistol powders, but you aren't really going to find that on the store shelf) -If you're going to port a barrel, it needs lots of ports to allow the gas to utilize the volume -Longer baffled sections are more quiet than shorter ones - Owner serviceable moderators make a lot more sense, and add little complexity to the design. - It's easier to save yourself some trouble and get a barrel with baffles already machined into it (like SWS does).

We are making a 8.6BO I would recommend people to check out the 375raptor. We feel it’s a far better cartridge.

There is a discrepancy in your testing when shooting the black gun you were so close to the sound machine you were practically knocking it over when you were shooting your gun on the first few rounds tested you were no where near as close to the machine

considering how inaccurate small hand-held db meters are, it's not that big of deal.
