Compared to civilian police academy vs MP AIT. Which was tougher
@suprememadness13273 жыл бұрын
I'm a bit late to the punch, I know, but considering no one answered your question, I got you. The classes at the school are a bit difficult, but overall, it's much easier than civilian police. Once you're done with OSUT, your next duty station also gives you their version of an 'academy.'

Definitely civilian police only because there is alot more violence and crime outside of military bases

2:26 do army MPs have badges again I thought only marine MPs had them
@suprememadness13273 жыл бұрын
No badges, I've personally heard talk about them bringing them back, but all we need is the brassard and our new LEO credentials to show that we're MPs. Badges are issued if you are wearing a formal uniform at certain forts that may require the wear of an ASU.

well do you guys have that in Hawaii because I’m planning to join the Military myself and I can join the Army National Guard and would this help me get to another agency because after I leave the Guard I wanna go to a regular agency like the DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration) so I was wondering if this job would help me get their ? because I know the Army National Guard wants me in and I was wondering if the 31B would help me get to where I wanna be like the DEA because that’s where I wanna go to the DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration) and I wanna know if this would help me get their because I wanna be a federal agent for the DEA so would this help me get their ?

What is the difference between the National Guard and active duty
@kobiebervaldi91704 жыл бұрын
National guard is where you can choose two jobs as part time and you have to go to Army for active duty.

@Say When don’t go to military lol.

Active duty is full time 5-7 days a week 8-12 hours a day. It’s a job. The only shit part is you can’t choose where you live. Like you can’t just come back home if you’re active duty. With Guard, it’s a weekend of training a month, which is enough to keep your skills sharp. Also, the main difference I heard is that with active, you deal with a lot more bullshit. We aren’t in wartime, so active guys (especially grunts such as 11b, 19d, and 12b) spent a lot of time doing base maintenance which includes mowing grass, yard work, cleaning the base, cleaning weapons, basically a janitor. But you never have to worry about money to pay bills, so that’s a plus. Go active if you want money and benefits, and a stable “military life”.
