Not so much of a homestead build video, as a love letter to your wife. You're a decent man.
@texasjustice18615 жыл бұрын
Chris Wills to be honest, when a man can humbly admit the backbone to the family is his wife. Then he is not only a true man but a loving husband.
@chriswills95305 жыл бұрын
@@texasjustice1861 My analogy would be more that this is a partnership and they are each an arm if the family is a body - both balancing and complementing each other, while being equally vital and useful. But hey, point is they appreciate and value each other. Peace.
@texasjustice18615 жыл бұрын
Chris Wills oh, I understand what you mean. It truly takes two to build the foundation of a strong family and home. But any man worth his salt also knows that the home starts with his wife, the backbone of the family.

I've been watching your videos for a while, and I've never seen that much drywall hung in one video ever. It does appear to me that your lovely wife balances you out. About the camper, I live in Alabama, lower Alabama, we get a lot of hurricanes. With hurricanes comes a lot of damage to the homes. The closest my 4-person family has ever been was when we stayed in a FEMA trailer in our yard 10' by 20' all four of us. Those four months we were closer as a family then we ever had been before. It was bittersweet to leave the trailer, maybe more bitter for the adults then for the kids, however still bittersweet. Can't wait to see the next video. Thanks for sharing your farm with us, Jimmy

Getting close! You'll be moved into the house in no time! I enjoy watching your progress and your words of wisdom. If and when they get bored or complain that they have nothing to do - send them out on a project of photographing or drawing an animal, a mineral & a botanical that they see/find on your property. Daily or just once a week. They will learn much from just exploring, but a project shared can be very rewarding. When they have access to the internet or spend a day at the library, have them do some research on what they've found in those categories. They can make up a book or binder of their findings. There is so much to enjoy and learn - art projects will abound from the resources available. Your summer will be a busy one, but I'm betting it may just be the most memorable one for each family member! Enjoy every minute!
