Gotta say, I have the standard Neptune 3 and I have been pushing my print speed to 120ms with no real discernible difference from 80ms. Elegoo have done a great job with this range.

Believe it or not printing something like an articulating model in TPU is a very satisfying and durable result assuming the model is not too demanding on bridging. I have articulating models in TPU you can abuse, throw, pull, twist, etc and it just bounces back. Great for smaller kids.

This looks like a really nice option at a nice price for that size range. I have a couple of printers, S1 Pro and AnkerMake M5. I have wanted to try out one of Elegoo's FDM printers, I love the Mars 3 Pro I got. I'm hoping to see an updated corexy from them as I already have a couple of bed flingers and would like to try something with that design.

I’ve been converting my CR-10s to be stand alone and upgraded the board so I can use klipper… I would totally have jumped on this and saved a lot of time! I am loving Klipper though.

Artillery Sidewinder X1, had 6 wheels for years. Also MBL mesh bed leveling isnt autoleveling, because you still need to manually adjust screws under the bed. Its just software option in Marlin which can have every printer with Marlin, even Ender 3 :)

You don’t have to adjust wheels, if it’s within a reasonable range. It’ll compensate for pretty large deviations.

I'm quickly outgrowing my Ender 3 V2. Started printing about 2 months ago. Want something faster and a larger build volume is a must. Oh, and I've already developed a distaste for bowden tube extruders. My Ender is the Neo version and apparently the Sprite is a no go without a major overhaul. Don't know if it's worth it for me if I'm ready to move on. That being said, my Ender has been relatively great. Not sure yet if a larger format Creality is something I should pursue or there are better options from other brands. This Elegoo definitely has me thinking.

Love that build volume and the auto mesh bed leveling. Prints look nice. Not sure about the 6 bed leveling knobs. Seems like it would be over constrained.

That was concerning me as well, i guess if one ever found it to be too constrained you could probably just remove the middle wheels and springs, and it'd be like any any other printer

Aloha Uncle Jessy, first off, gotta say, love your videos. Even though this video is a little dated I still hope you read this and can help me out. I got a Neptune 3 Plus a few month ago and been wanting to use it for larger prints that also require some details. So after looking around a bit I settled on this but now I am really disappointed. Not only is the cooling inconsistent, so that it shows in the print because the colour of in this case black PLA shifts from shiny to matte back to shiny back to mate, but also the details aren't great and neither is the overall surface of the print. I tried messing a round a bit but I honestly am very frustrated with the machine. You seem to have good results with it so I was wondering if you could help me out. Which slicer are you using? I tried using the latest cura with the profile for the printer but it does not seem to be tweaked enough. Could you by any chance share your slicer, printer settings and PLA/PETG/ TPU profile settings for this machine? I would really like to get it to a level where I can use it reliably but so far it has not produced one good print. Thanks very much for taking the time to read this and to help out. So we thought about x1 but it goes back to stock in February, now we are thinking about getting p1p but it releases beginning of January, so I’m thinking of either getting a flash forge adventurer 4 or wait and get a p1p but is it worth the wait or are there other good enclosed 3D printers in the 700 dollar range? It would be great if you can change the heated nozzles to accept 300 degrees Celsius to print Polycarbonate, Nylon, or Carbon fiber filled filament material. I am not sure if elegoo is as open sourced as Creality when it comes to FDM Printers, But I just hope the provide a kit for it (or a kit compatible for it). I'll wait for the release of the Max while I use my Raise3D N2 before I retire. Still rocking the Saturn and Jupiter though.

You should make a video on how to program so that the filaments are not lost I have seen several videos of these printers on KZbin where the filament is lost and does not print anything please if you can make a video what type of filament should be used and programmed since the manual is not very complete and the customer service is very bad for this brand

Mine worked really well but all of a sudden has started stringing really badly. Prints were were great at first (no retraction) but are terribly stringy now even with retraction. No settings or anything else has changed. Anyone any suggetions? Thanks. Also, think the bed has now warped as after auto levelling nozzle always grinding in middle of bed but high on sides. Wasn't like this to begin with.

I almost can't see any layer lines on the batman mask, but I saw somebody print the xy cube on neptune 3 pro and and they were clearly there. Why does that happen? Is it the filament or is this model of higher quality?

Why would the printer make a difference on the top ringing of the Batman cowl? At .2 layer height I don't see why it would be any different. Isn't that going to be a slicer issue? That aside, looks cool! My CR-10's are really starting to get long in the tooth.

Question for you, and apologies if this has been covered in a ton of other videos, but why would you use a .6mm nozzle, but still work with .2mm layer height? What's the benefit of that vs using the .4mm nozzle with the same layer height?

350 dollars is pretty cheap. I paid like 400 in 2020 for the Creality CR6. I would like to see Elegoo coming to Argentina, so more people could join the 3D printer world with a cheap and reliable 3D printer.
