My hats off to Brad for another stunning revelation! As for wood router work, this is no less than potential in pill form Considering I am swamped with the arrival of a new CNC Router (that won't fit through the shop door :-) .....this adds to my breathless state! So much to explore, and options to pique interest in potential clientele

TIP: To compute simulation fast, use Simulate>Stock>Mode>Fast (3-axis only)! Has pros/cons vs. 'Standard' mode, but can be quite handy at times. You are welcome:)

Great video but I am having some problems. When I insert the mesh in Fusion it gives an errror that it is not closed and the conversion are not visible when I click right mouse button.

Since you have to turn off the design history to turn the mesh into a B-rep, could he have turned the mesh into a B-rep before making the sign frame? I think this would work since he could scale it as a solid body. If this works, you can turn on the history afterwards and you'll still have an intact timeline. Hope this is helpful! Your videos have sure helped me!

Yep, that would have worked! Great idea. Sometimes I turn the history on and off more than a couple times as I design. It is unfortunate to lose the history each time you do that, but it just depends on how you foresee needing to edit it later.

Autodesk needs to make this a standard pipeline that retains history. Mudbox should be promoted.

Hi, Im when I import to Fusion I'm not getting a Quad mesh. I'm getting triangles so I can't convert it. Any thoughts on this?

Can we wrap the texture(obj) to a curved surface( like cylinder?) like powershape which can wrap stl file into any surface?

btw, I couldn't download the 2020 version of the product ... website errors out (403?) But 2019 version works (downloads.) Perhaps server or form error on website?

Sorry about that Ted! I actually downloaded this sometime last week too but didn't experience issues. I would hope it's now resolved...any luck this week? Or is 2019 going to do the trick for you?

A Magro- Yes! Yes it is! I created a mesh body in Fusion 360, exported as FBX and then brought that into Mudbox. I did a Mesh-->Retopologize in Mudbox, and then I was able to sculpt on the mesh.

Mudbox is free for edecational use. There is a demo, but it is for business owners only. As a creator/maker I am unable to demo it.

You set the mesh to center, but when scaling it gets offset... WHY?

Gery- It's hard to see, but one of the options when scaling is "center point". When I clicked on the mesh, I had clicked off-center a bit, so when it scaled, it scaled to the side. I knew I would be positioning the part after, so I wasn't worried where I clicked. Thanks for watching!
