Hi. Great insights. Could you please let us know the impact on car batter for paking survalaince. E.g. if i park the car for a month at the airport. How does that work. Is it constantly taking charge from my car's battery or it has some internal battery as well. How long of a parking survailance mode has an effect on car's battery. That is the major point of concern for me. Also if if i can connect it to a battery pack instead of the car's internal battery-is it a possibility?

It doesn't work all the time, while your car is off, only a few seconds of recording if AI detects something dangerous, so it shouldn't drain your battery. Plus, many cars have protection against drainage, and will shut off the battery if it gets very low. I recommend to connect to the car's battery instead of any extra power bank. First of all its free, and second - the power bank may get hot inside the car, so you need an extra precaution to keep it cool. Plus, you need to constantly charge it.

The interior footage at night was very decent because it uses PureCell HDR. But there are no IR sensors for shooting in a complete darkness. You'd need a dedicated separate camera for that. I'm going to review one of those in my upcoming video, so stay tuned!

I just hooked it up, I tested it a little bit, at night, I didn't even notice it was recording so idk how long I had to stand there, the camera just swiveled around and didn't seem to follow me, although it might've spun to check for other people it looked like it might've tried to follow me but it was like 9pm so it was very dark, I'll try to remember to test it again later, for the warning when you get to close to the car ahead of you needs to be calibrated so idk how well that works yet

Oh when I got in the car and turned it on it audibly said there was an event and to go into the app to view it, it saved in a folder labeled "events" and if you go into the timeline view it's colored yellow so you can find it easily

Powerbank is not a permanent solution because it has to be recharged every time, while connecting to a vehicle's constant power is connect and forget. Also, powerbank could explode if you leave it inside the hot vehicle for a prolonged period of time.

Demo of the Parking Mode requires hardwiring to the car, which I didn't want to do. Plus, based on my questions, the majority of people don't buy Dashcam for Parking Mode security, and mostly want it for the recording of driving. At least here in the U.S because most people already have some kind of security system and insurance. However, if a lot of people ask me, I may do a video review of the Parking Mode in the future. But as I said, if you think your unit is malfunctioning, you should ask them for a replacement.

Yes I agreed. I have been using about two weeks and have been very frustrated that its motion detection didn't perform as seller claim. I have at many times approached my car, it failed to detect me until I open the car door which only triggered the collision detection video recording. Someone could easily break into the car and grab the cam for the failing motion detection.

70Mai has it's own hotspot. You need to connect to it your cell via 70Mai app, so you can customize the Settings, or download the video footage to your smartphone, as I showed in the this video.

It's not an alarm system, it's a surveillance recorder. So, if someone tries to break in the car, it will record what happens, so you have a video of the person. But if you want to make a loud noise from a siren, you'd need to install a security alarm system. Or you can use both.

No, it doesn't connect to your lights or horn as a normal car alarm does. The AI doesn't react to every person, only the suspicious ones, or the ones trying to hit or break inside, so it doesn't drain your car's battery for no reason.

Hi, I noticed something has changed lately for my Front Camera, and I hope that, with your expertise, you might have an idea how to fix it: I have Park Assist, 360° Camera, MBUX. Normally, every time I drive into my garage, just before reaching the final parking slot (with a wall at the front), the front camera would automatically turn on and show what's right in front of the car (= a wall), along with beep-beep as I am getting closer to the wall This is quite convenient. However, since a few days, under the same conditions, the front camera does no longer turn on automatically. Only the beep-beep warning sound comes up, and I can only see the "bird-eye view" (= "areal-view") of the car, but no longer the front view. If I now want to have the front view as well, I have to "manually" and explicitly switch the front camera on (by touching the "Camera" button on the screen, and explicitly choose the front camera view to turn it on). I don't know why this behavior has changed. However, under other conditions let say 1) I am starting the car, 2) do a reverse R (the rear camera is then coming up automatically), then 3) do a D1 to drive forward, in this very scenario 1) -> 2) -> 3), the front camera will come up at step 3) ! Only in case I am driving say, for some time (= not when starting the car - like in the scenario 1) -> 2) -> 3) described before), and then entering my parking slot, in this case the front camera no longer comes up. Do you know why ? I searched in the Settings menu, but didn't find anything which would control the automated activation of the camera views or so... Thank you, for your help. You probably switched your 360 cameras into a different view. Put the car in R to activate the camera on the screen, and then on the side of the screen there are about 4-5 different views icons. Change to the one that you used before the change.

That's my problem, I would like my front camera to turn on automatically when I approach my final parking position.

If you brake something or create any wiring problems while installing, then your Mercedes warranty will not cover because it is a problem created by you, not the car.so, you can either connect it via a cigarette lighter adapter (so no installation needed) or have someone professional to hardwire it. Once installed, it can't cause any problems because it doesn't interfere with your car in any way.

some things you should be aware of before buying . 1. the footage of it detecting people and tracking people while parked is stock footage , this is a red flag , why did he not test the parking AI himself . the fact that he's using footage sent by the company shows collaboration between the two . this is not the only one , all reviews of of this product showing that same stock footage and not being tested independently are knowingly covering up the fact that parking AI does not work . 2. it's not the worlds first 360 motorized dash cam . i bought mine 10yrs ago and was looking to upgrade to the parking AI they claim to have.(mine is no longer made ) 3. i paid $90 for mine , and a lot of the features that this camera has to be hardwired for came standard when plugged into a lighter socket , such as parking surveillance , motion detection , not draining your battery , 4. no rear camera option . 5. other than the voice commands and warnings all the technology on this thing was out 10yrs ago.

No doubt its best 360 degree dash cam but it comes battery instead of capacitor just to ensure that there is no fire hazard.

This one has very thick housing, but you're right, that would be a good question to direct to the manufacturer.

When the lens of the dashcam rotates to view left, right or inside the vehicle, it only holds that position for 10 seconds, then returns automatically to forward facing. Kind of useless, if it can't record an event inside for more than 10 seconds or record the police when they are talking to you through the driver's side window. It needs to stay in the position commanded, until it is commanded to do otherwise. Amazing camera except for this problem, but it prevents me from buying one.

It's a good feature if you go for a long trip, so you'll get a warning if you change the lane by accident. But if you drive short distance in traffic, I would turn it off.

BUT ... if a criminal notices the dashcam and breaks into the car to remove it, it is of no value whatsoever - either for an unscrupulous driver hitting your car in a car park, or in the case of a smash-and-grab thief! You lose the recordings and an expensive dash cam! I would be neat if there was also a remote wireless storage accessory that you could also buy. Or a means to link into your home WiFi network? Everything else is so well thought out and implemented so well that it's a shame such extra high-end options are not readily available. It's he best one I've so far seen!

The Parking Mode feature requires a permanent hard-wiring, which I didn't want to do on that car, but I did explain how it works. However, I may demo it in my future videos, if there is a lot of requests for that.

Correct, it doesn't shoot 360 at the same time. But when it's in Parking Mode - it can follow the person 360 degrees. Seems like a useless gimmick to me. It can not film in all directions at the same time. How is this going to be good for driving/forward, cabin and/or rear recording at the same time?

@@MBZMaster your video is great. Its the dash cam itself that has the low video quality. You are much better of with a 4K cam such as a VIOFO brand.

He did not mention in the U.S. you can't use the features the hard wire gives. No real time monitoring, and no instant app alert. So you pay exactly what others do but not get the same features.

Some software features are released in batches, so check the model and availability based on where you live, at the time of ordering. The reason of slow software releases is behind legal local privacy laws in different State/Countries.

Cellular connectivity is not supported in all States/Countries yet, so check the link before ordering. If no cellular connectivity on your model, then you can download the footage via Bluetooth on your cellphone.
