My theater was cracking up with the baby scene as well. Microwave baby is the best meme from this movie 😂😂💀 The CGI was extremely bad at several parts, but I understand why the studio didn’t want to spend more on this movie (WAY TOO RISKY). Flash’s suit (including the helmet) looked amazing when it was REAL. I DID NOT like how he ran in large, slow strides in the beginning scene when he first ran across country. It should have showed his legs moving FAST (nitpick I know but still). CGI and some odd dialogue choices aside, this movie was perfect with how fun it was. It was solid story, with a small emotional core. The cameos were great and Keatons Batman was badass with a small arc. Supergirl was amazing once she showed her aggression. The ending was little much, but I don’t think it went to far. Really have to praise the creativity of the action sequences and what they managed to make the characters do. Then ending of him wanting to make his father look up made sense to me. He changed a drastic event first and thought maybe something as minor as someone looking up wouldn’t make a difference. In the end, he is still a child wanting to have a parent. Overall the biggest gripes is the CGI and some dialogue. Otherwise for 2 and a half hours it had a solid, but not great pacing. Like it 7/10

I think my only main gripes were the some of the bad CG (which my gf actually brought up during the movie) and that ending with George Clooney. Although hilarious it also just came across as kind of disrespectful to end it that way. Hell, I'd almost prefer if they just ended it by not showing Bruce Wayne at all and just imply that there's a new one. I almost wonder if that was a reshoot that James Gunn did after he took over. It would be cool if we got the alternate ending with Michael Keaton on the physical release, but I don't expect it. I actually saw in an interview with Andy Muschietti that there's a deleted scene implying that Michael Keaton tried to time travel himself. I really hope we get that at least. man this movie pulled at my heart, seeing bens batman one last time, and perhaps the most accurate, the nostalgia of keaton, the details of barry’s speed his calories, energy manipulation, the close of his molecules vibrating, the relationship of the two barry’s with their mom, this was a dope movie i’m excited to see what andy does now with his own batman

Biggest issues, #1, No grant gustin cameo, or even john wessly shipp, the 2 people with more flash history than anyone else, also no reverse flash. You don't even need him to be the main villian, but just leave some hint it was him, and also give dark flash more time to shine. Maybe if they had him be something that we don't know what it is and just be a menace would be great.

WAS WAITING for your spoiler review Chris! I went in with a lot of hype and was disappointed. Some things I want to mention was the amazing action, the bad gci was intentional, Barry didn't work for me, being "flashed", and personally bad nostalgia bait/easter eggs. It was a great watch but a 6/10 movie.

They really missed an opportunity to blame all the DC movies on the Dark Flash. The Dark Flash needed to be the reason for all of the continuity errors. For that matter they even missed the opportunity to blame it on Barry as well. Because it could be said that when he traveled in the past in Snyder's movie he caused everything, but they ignored Snyders movie and acted as if this was Barry's first time entering the speed force to travel back in time.

I definitely don’t hate the flash but my favorite superhero is the flash so I was rooting for this movie and every time something bad happened or a delay it was a punch to the gut but I think with me being so passionate about this movie I was so disappointed but in James Gunn we trust to make a perfect flash movie

*The* *Flash:* *No* *Way* *Home* I keep comparing these two films because they share the same positives and negatives. They're what I call entertaining films but not great films. Both films used the multiverse plot device to offer us cameo gimmicks. They went for the OMG moments over what makes a truly great film which is story, great character development, great music, and great dialogue. It's actually hard for me to process right now how I feel about The Flash since I only saw it once. I enjoyed the movie enough. I walked away smiling from it. But I completely understand bashing this film.. Ezra Miller = immature Barry He was giving us a Jekyll & Hyde Barry. The younger Barry, he really didn't need to "act". That's who he is. Immature, petty, selfish, thoughtless. The older Barry is the one we all wanted him to be dating back to 2017. A genius. Calm. Doesn't act like a moron like he's Lloyd Christmas. So it's actually hard to separate art from reality because the real Ezra Miller is in the film! He's both the best and worst parts of the film along with the crappy CGI among its worst aspects. I will say when Barry hugs his mom one last time, it was more emotional than when Peter lost Aunt May or when he said goodbye to MJ before she forgets about him. That was the best part of The Flash. That moment loving his mom that way. "I love you more..." But I always loved you first." What can I say about Michael Keaton that hasn't been said already? He's the real reason most people are watching this. If Keaton wasn't in this film and all we had was two Flashes and Supergirl, the movie would be trash. But this 80s/90s nostalgia is a powerful drug! These studios know how to use it on our generation. They'll be using it again with some famous archeologist in 2 weeks. We are all schmucks and suckers for this childhood nostalgia, huh Sean? 😂 I think The Flash reminded our generation that Michael Keaton is the GOAT Batman. At least he proved to me. Sorry Michael for forgetting about you and having recency bias with Ben and Robert. We finally saw Keaton as Batman in modern times. In 1989 and 1992, it was mostly practical effects. Real sets. We now have CGI and more athletic stunt doubles that can make a 70-year-old in a Batman suit look like the most BADASS Batman ever captured on film. Batman returns, alright! The Batman of our generation. The Sean Connery of Batman. The Michael Jordan of Batman. 🐐 1. Michael Keaton 2. Adam West (I grew up on '66 Batman) 3. Ben Affleck 4. Robert Pattinson 5. Christian Bale 6. Val Kilmer 7. George Clooney (great cameo!) I think questioning an 80-year-old Harrison Ford as Indiana Jones should stop if people are willing to watch a 70-year-old Michael Keaton return as BATMAN while using CGI. I liked Supergirl. I think she was the key to defeating Zod. You can combine all the Batmen and Flashes and they're not beating Zod. Supergirl was the only one with a puncher's chance. The actress who portrays her is really hot like Greg Alba said. More roles for her, please? The Flash is a good movie. It may not age well the more times we watch it like what happened to No Way Home, but it's a good movie. Or you can say it's really a bad movie with a "bad actor" in Trump terms but it's entertaining enough to enjoy. But I do understand the major complaints about it. I can understand the bashing. It's already very divisive. Ezra is a POS. No excuses for him. And DCEU isn't exactly masterpiece cinema. As Scorsese said in 2019 about MCU films, The Flash is more of an amusement park thrill ride than great cinema. I guess more "Flash" over substance.

What I found just a bit odd and had trouble getting on board with was Barry’s lifelong struggle to absolve his father as opposed to catching the killer. What was that about?
@aarongibson8179 Жыл бұрын
Right??? It seems like they just avoid talking about the killer at all.
@fidelgarcia2224 Жыл бұрын
@@aarongibson8179probably because of the movie had gotten a sequel then it would revolve around the killer which would have been revealed to be Reverse Flash since part of Barry's origin story is that Reverse Flash killed his mother

I liked the movie but its still not comparable to the actual flashpoint story. I did like how they kept in the while getting his powers back scene and the movie was still a solid interpretation of the story. But it’s a shame we are never going to get Jeffrey Dean Morgan as Thomas Wane Batman. Although Michael Keaton return is definitely the next best thing.

I'm surprised/disappointed we never got cameos from other cancelled movies like Justice League Mortal or even Batman Beyond (we almost got a live action Batman Beyond movie but WB choise Nolan's Batman Beyond). *The Justice League Mortal cameo could've been the JL standing together looking at the portal and the Batman Beyond cameo could've been Terry McGinnis just finishing a fight with Inque or Spellbinder or even Shreik or Blight then as soon as the portal opens he pulls out a baterang.

But wow I was completely blown away by this movie I could see the heart that went into this movie and I liked the performances and man I loved seeing Keaton's Batman on screen kicking ass again and there were some genuine emotional moments as well Keaton's Batman dying for the 2nd time and saying "You brought me out" and Barry saying goodbye to his mom for the final time. My gripes were obviously the CGI I don't know why but I was laughing my ass off at the rescuing babies scene and I hope that cameo at the end isn't Batman in James Gunn's new DCU.

Just saw it yesterday and I didn't think I would enjoyed it. I definitely love Michael Keaton's Batman and Ben Affleck's Batman. And the cameos especially Nicolas Cage as Superman. The other Barry is stupid and Supergirl was good. And the cgi was okay as well. And with the many different worlds colliding and get destroyed, I can possibly see it now that how Avengers: Secret Wars can nail it. It will be bonkers. I give this movie 8/10

In my opinion I really loved and enjoyed the film I even think the cgi was not that bad but still in some shots without Barry’s slowing time it does look a bit horrendous but overall I enjoyed most of the film the ending was a bit confusing tho with what they went for on how dark flash died a bit too quick it kinda felt rushed but those are my only problems overall ranking is A and score is a 8.5-9/10
