I know this is an old video, but a small correction! The sclera is actually the white part of the eye, while the clear part outside the eye is called the cornea :)

At 7:50 you start running! I couldn't understand what yoyr next steps were! The sphere you created was the same as the other?

I made a new sphere with the same subdivisions as the the first one and scaled it to be slightly bigger.

@@AlexCheparev love your tutorials mate but if you can take things slow like you spend most of the video and not start speeding up, it would be appreciated.

@@AlexCheparev i mean at 12:10 could have been slowed we dont know what you're doing here

He's going at a fine speed for this. If you find it too fast, then there's always the option on KZbin videos to slow them down. He is actually very good in this tutorial. I've been to too many Maya tutorials on KZbin, in which the guy spends like 5 minutes just picking names for stuff, or showing us overly basic stuff, like how to make and move a circle. The only thing I didn't understand is why he was adding the extra geometry at the back of the eyeball. It seemed unnecessary for a part that would not be visible in final renders. Also, I do wish more people would do tutorials for animal Irises, such as cat/lizard.

In the scene of erasing the back of the eye, I followed it for two hours, but the number of noodles was not right. 64/32 right? I doubt I got the order wrong somewhere. But I don't think there's a problem with working a little differently. Thank you for your tutorial!

If you're talking about what I think you're talking about, then I'm sure it was 64/36.
