What are your experiences with larger glasses? My new ones kept sliding down and it was driving me crazy.

Try out the ring version, my wife loves it (the hook was way too large for her).

I think this is very useful. My glasses never falled before but they slip around my nose and they come down.

No need, you can heat up the end of your glasses in boiling water and manually bend more curve.

That's a very interesting idea.

Best is to just go see an optician and let them adjust them properly a good one will be able to see what needs to be fixed. I know because that is what I do for a living

@@magicmanac what will the optic do ? Did they bend it ?
@magicmanac
@magicmanac 4 жыл бұрын
@@zero6355 yes an optician has the tools and know how to properly bend it. The problem is doing it yourself most of the time causes it to hurt in different places because you don't understand the mechanics behind it all.

it's a novel fix, but I've never had this problem. In fact, I wear my glasses on rollercoasters an have never had a problem. you're supposed to heat the ends of the arms in hot water and bend them to the shape of your ears. I noticed yours are almost straight.

I buy my glasses online, so the frame can be a bit too big, which is where this comes in handy. There's a ton of similar stuff on Amazon, so it's not as rare as it might seem. I never had to use something likes this before either, only with my latest glasses.

Looks like you need a better optician who knows how to properly fit glasses to your head. They will heat up the frame and bend it. Attachments are fundamentally flawed, they will tend to rub, and completely unnecessary. Or you can learn to fit the glasses yourself.

Yeah, I've never had problems when I was still buying glasses in a store. But because of the high prices, I've started buying them online and then you can never be sure about the fit. I've never considered fitting them myself, I'll look into that, it would certainly be a better solution.
