I've been watching your videos for a year or so without even having a 3d printer, I get my Ender max neo Monday and I'm excited to finally utilize all the information you have given us in your videos. Try lining the inside of the cowl(wolverine) with black felt to help stop the light from showing the magnets. You can buy felt sheets from most fabric stores.

Instead of the elastic bands, I'll use painters tape to hold helmet parts in place while setting things up. Did that for my Iron Man, Mando, and FNAF masks.

The elastic bands are permanent. They’re not to hold it while setting up. Tape will break eventually.

Measured the magnet holes in Fusion. 10mm x 2mm magnets will fit in the holes with no scaling FYI

honestly why I hate magnet projects. Prints just need to be made with a slanted back like the White Ranger Concept helmet so that most heads can fit in any shaped helmet without making it too large. I feel like magnets are so tedious and annoying to use. I get magnet eyes, but I want to feel like I'm putting on a helmet, not legos.

Darkwing Dad posted a video suggesting to print the face piece on its side so that the finishing layers are on the magnet parts to prevent the ringing effect from top layers on the nice texture. hope this might help and sorry if it is not ok.
