I just recently had a spiritual awakening 4 months ago, which has completely changed my life. I then recently discovered that I'm an Empath 2 weeks ago, which is all crazy news to me but makes so much sense about who I am and how I feel all the time. I've always been different or "weird" but I met this girl in my work place who seemed so sweet, bubbly and innocent and different like myself. I instantly got on with her and was almost falling in love with her, just before last week I broke off cause my intuition felt like something wasn't right. I then started connecting all the dots as soon as I broke off from that "blinded by the love" feeling.. to figure out she she was a sociopath that didn't want my love and only wanted to be saved. It has completed fried my head to say the least and I'm still trying to get my head around why people would pretend to be something their not. I always tried my best to help her and show my compassion, but if anything I have learned a valuable lesson not to put my trust in people to much and I thank God for showing me truth. ✌️ God bless.

When you're listening to Nature, it's not with your ears or mind. It's with your heart and your feelings are transferred to your mind and that is how you listen to Nature. So many people will go and sit on a rock and expect to hear something. But that's not how it works. Your heart will feel it .

This resonates so completely. All my life I have told people I'm close to, which isn't many, that I feel better around babies, animals and in nature... And the reasoning was because they are all innocent and constant. They are instinctual. I've never really understood this myself and you just made it clicks for me. I am going to start with your three first steps also. Thank you so much.

Nutrition is super important to protect yourself. You won’t live with a constant brain fog if you find out what your body needs to avoid. Without the brain fog you can concentrate on protecting yourself instead of huddling up in a corner. I have 45 years experience with this and I know what I am talking about!

Nature gives an empath a sense of awe, and enlightenment from all the self awareness that comes from getting too much info, especially when you've been raised by a narcissistic mother. Nature is healing and offers an escape that you learn to crave.

Agreed. I learned when I bought my place thy I could impact trees. I had a few citrus trees that were just looking like dry branches. No leaves. Thought I’d have to Dig them out and replant. But instead I pruned them every night by hand and talked at them and sang. Hello, they came back. After a year we got fruit. How crazy! But the proof was there.

Yes, we believe in The Tree Nation. An old flamboyant tree split in 3 ways after a few days of heavy rain. Mom & I cried as Dad said, ‘Quit being cry babies!’ (Yes, Dad’s a muggle.) We LOVED that Tree. Even though we can see the sky a lil bit more … we feel so exposed. We’ll be planting another one once the logs are cleared. RIP Beautiful Flamboyant Tree Mar 2024, STX, USVI.

There is a tree I’m fighting my HOA to save. Well the other day my 4 year old daughter sang a song that sounded like a farmer mocking cows who were cold in a field. Then they were taken away to a place where they couldn’t see the moon anymore, and they were scared. I never talk to my daughter about such things or factory farming or animals slaughtered, and I asked who told her this. She pointed right at my house plant and said, we have to help the cows. !!!!! I wondered from that day, because I feel connected to the trees, if maybe the plants have been speaking to her too.

The last part about nutrition really hit home for me. I went vegan about 6 years ago when I watched an animal die for food consumption. I thought to myself, why would I consume death? And then I spent time with pigs, cows, chickens, goats, and other living animals that are raised for people to eat and I felt such despair. When we consume tortured animals, we feel tortured inside. Being vegan helped me a lot but I didn’t realize I was an empath. I just thought I really loved animals.

I feel empowered knowing there are many of us out there. I love who I am. Much of those feelings of uneasiness in family gathering is because you may not be able to stomach one family member criticizing another when both have revealed to you in confidence they are both the same. Although you know this you feel unable to help and this is not a good place for the empath to be in because another thing empaths don’t enjoy doing is being judgmental and /or having to choose between two people. I do agree that removing yourself from a situation long enough to get your bearings back and enjoying the tranquility of nature. Thanks again for your presentation

This is going to sound crazy...but when I was a youngster of about 9-10 years old, I would volunteer to water the plants and trees in our yard...because what I felt/heard coming back from the plants was joy and gratitude. Over the years, I've intuitively gravitated toward nature - preferably near a body of water/stream - whenever I needed to recharge myself. Always felt refreshed afterwards.

Funny thing about the nutrition bit, but the past year I became a vegetarian and gave up the grog and since then I have been getting all sorts of spiritual downloads and learned a lot about myself, which has cleared up much of my confusion. I was directed to the parable of the prodigal son and finally the penny dropped for me. I now realise that a lot of what is going on around us, is symptomatic of our need to reconnect with "source", by whatever name you call it. What you're saying is much like the message Eckhart Tolle is bringing, about living in the now, acceptance, stillness, silence and lack of judgement. Just allowing ourselves and other things to "Be" as they are, without worrying about the past or excessive focus on the future result you may wish to achieve. Just allowing and accepting the now.

I AM an Empath, Thank you for many validations. I have wondered. many times, Why me? As a 9 yr old I began to hug trees as I could feel the emence energy from them. Crowds do overwhelm me, because of this I will follow your direction for application to center my self.

What if you are unclear about your identity or purpose in life? Can you elaborate on that more please? I have spent most of life overcoming major health hurdles. I want to contribute and I know certain things I am good at but I am still having a hard time defining/clarifying myself. Another issue is I have a lot of interests and have a hard time focusing on one thing. Any advice you can give on this matter is greatly appreciated.

I used to work in special education with kids who were nonverbal, for 15 years. I'd get to work, and "feel" where I had to go & what I had to do, and connect with the kids who really needed me that day. (I have some crazy stories). I knew I could connect with them, but wasn't sure how. But the worst part, was coming home and not being able to turn it off. It was like being overloaded- which I was. Then, I got hurt at work. I had to take a seizure type medicine for chronic pain, and it was the first time (and since then) that I got peace and quiet.
