Your message to aging women is very refreshing. Everyone over the age of 40 needs to hear your outlook on getting older. You are correct on not wearing foundation. I stopped wearing foundation in my 30's and when I did, my skin actually improved and a dark spot on my cheek disappeared.

I had to use Vaseline on my face due to just being on the dry side. As a Social Worker at a Jeriatric facility i was always in the elements in and out between our two buildings. I had to use it to be able to put on my foundation. Or it just wouldn't blend. So glad because now at 66 my face isn't terribly terrible. I still have to put some on even after oils or creams. It's just something that my face requires. It's to bad i did'nt know its benifits as i would have used it all over my face instead of just my eyes and cheeks. I just made a scrub with 1 tbs black castor oil, half tsp pure refined 100% coconut oil, 1 teaspoon baking soda, a little ginger oil quarter tsp, manuka half tsp honey and 1 tbs Vaseline and a sprinkke of Himalayan salt. (84 minerals) Thought i'd try it as a body scrub but decided to try it on my face. A little oily but hoping it will saturate nicely. Was a great face scrub. Face is soft. Left it in for about 10-15 minutes and washed off. Next time i use some as i didnt need much i will use a few drops of lemon in what i put in my hand just to see what that does 😬.

Hi there! I just discovered you! I'd like to say that I started using castor oil as my last step in my nighttime skincare routine. I had developed these "red spots" all over my face. I have no idea what they were or what caused them, but the castor oil has completely eliminated them. I also had a sort of 'scab-like-sore" near my hairline. That, too, has completely disappeared. It's WONDERFUL stuff. I have an issue on my hands that I'm hoping you, or someone, can help me with. About a year ago I began a new thyroid medication which not only caused half my hair to fall out, but I developed melasma on my hands and forearms!! I am very disturbed by this, as I'd previously had no marks on my hands at all. Can you suggest a way to get rid of these marks? I no longer take that medication, just FYI. I do put the castor oil on my hands at night but so far it hasn't helped with this particular issue. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks so much!! 🙏😊
