4 Door RV Fridge Cooling Problems Solved!

Fan helped quite a bit. Much quicker cool down when we stopped for the evening and turned the fridge on. Achieved a lower temp overnight so we maintained a better delta while traveling during the day as the fridge is unpowered while traveling. I was able to get the controller inside next to the fridge and added the thermometers too. Thank you!

I got your reply, Thanks. I've been following your adventures because we have a Winnebago V2932RL fivver so we have the same fridge as you. And with summer heat coming I've been looking for a solution for the fridge like you. I thought that was the reason you didn't mount the fans in the top vent and you did mention it in the video. I just wondered if you may have explored mounting the fans differently than on the cover. I'm also wondering if maybe two smaller fans would fit. I haven't pulled the top cover but I will after our memorial day trip. We did a similar fix on a past fridge but I had to assemble the parts myself - it really did help. I like the Beech Lane solution especially the controller and will explore soon. Thanks

Another option would be to replace the 4 little fans that come with the fridge with ones that move more air. I know a couple of others have done this but I don't have info on where they got the fans and how well that worked. The Beech Lane fans are large - they won't fir sideways in the space between the fridge and outside wall. Thanks for your feedback!

Hi Mike, thanks! I thought I mentioned it, but maybe I forgot. The fins of the condenser coil are so close the the outside wall that there isn't enough room for the fans on the inside of the upper vent cover.
