1 Tip for the driven shot I used for mastering it was to first of all not at all focus on power and repeat the technique to where it became muscle memory, then I would start adding more and more power little by little. The thing most new players do is that they focus all on power and not on the technique. As per my experience, I advise you to get the muscle memory of the driven shot first and then try to add power as this will make shooting in a match much quicker and easier to think. I used to be great at the shot I would shoot straight through with power and my coach loved it but in summer preperation we stopped shooting and focused on stamina and when we started shooting again I couldnt do the shot, everytime I try to shoot straight through it it curves to the left and Ive been trying so long to learn the technique again but I just cant do it without it curling

@@svanto1015 hey the way fixed the same issue you have was by making sure your standing foot is parallel to the ball very important and also to make your shooting leg go across meaning the shooting leg (suppose your right leg is your main foot) then your right leg should be on the left side of the left leg. Hope I didn't make things more complicated. Go score some goals king 🤴

Would recommend talking about where the kicking leg knee, is in relation to the ball, especially in the driven shot. As per your demo's, there are some that rise, and others stay flater, down to where your striking leg is in relation to the ball. The rising ones, you are slightly further behind the ball, with the knee not as far over the ball upon contact. The flat, driven strikes, you are closer to the ball (vertically), and you knee in over the ball when connecting. This is important for young players, as they may need to work on the steps - shorten / lengthen their stride - to ensure best connection. Additionally, if in a real game, you find yourself slightly "stretching" for the ball, a shorter back lift and follow through, can still generate power, and keep the ball lower.
