When I served in Iraq, the early morning sunrise was about the only enjoyment I had. As far as sewing, there’s nothing wrong with it, helped me through out my military career. Now getting the toes done is a different story lol. Great videos buddy, also bought the Heavyweight Championship course it’s great too. I’ve been fishing for a good while, but there’s always something to learn.

As a fisherman who fishes to fill the freezer for food (Ling cod, salmon, trout, sea bass, crab) I know the thrill of reeling in fish but what do you as a serious fisherman get out of reeling in fish just to let them go? I'm not trying to bust your chops in any way and I love your videos but I'm just wondering if I'm missing out on something when I fish. I'm not trying to be an ass I just see the joy and excitement you get in catch and release and wondered if you could explain. Thank you for the videos.

Good Morning!! I have a question about your dragging weights if you're willing to answer!! How fast do you think you could troll the weights and keep them on the bottom at 60-70 feet? How much weight would you add to keep them that deep at 1.2+mph? We're wondering about adapting the dragging weights for walleye fishing! Thanks!
@KayakCatfish2 ай бұрын
You would definitely have to add more weight to keep them on bottom at those depths or let out a ton of line to be able to troll over 1mph. As for how much weight or how much line distance, I really don’t know. I haven’t tried going that fast at those depths.

Hey Justin, I’ve really been getting into your videos, I was wondering what kind of kayak I would need to be able to catfish decently from it, I don’t have a huge budget, I was wondering if those cheap like 400$ Walmart fishing kayaks would work, with a few upgrades, thanks for your time. 🙏🏽
@monitorcrazy96392 ай бұрын
Also do you have a link for your rattles, I’m buying off your other links but couldn’t find the ones you’re using
@KayakCatfish2 ай бұрын
I definitely wouldn’t recommend the Walmart kayaks. They are poor quality and very unstable. The only kayak I can think of in your budget that would work well is the Native Ultimate. You can usually find them used on Craigslist or market place for around 500. As for the rattles, it has been so long since I bought some that I can’t remember where I got them. I had bought a bulk pack from some place online years ago and still have a bunch left.
